A popular choice for used cars is Autorama, located in York University Heights. Having opened in 2000, they’ve grown from a small operation to one of the largest used car dealerships in the GTA.
What I like the most about them is their diverse selection of used cars including popular brands like Honda, Toyota, and Lexus.
I also like their transparency. Autorama provides CarProof History Reports with every vehicle, so you know exactly what you’re getting. Plus, they offer extended warranties, which is a great relief for anyone worried about unexpected repair costs down the road.
Another thing that caught my attention is their Care to Share program, which gives away a free car each month to a family or individual in need.
However, it’s disappointing to learn that some of their clients encountered rude behaviour from their staff.

The dealership where I actually got my first car was Good Fellow’s Auto Wholesalers. What drew me in was their extensive selection of vehicles from well-known brands like Ford, Dodge, and Nissan.
Another reason why I chose them is that they offer New Credit or No Credit Car Loan options. Fresh out of college with a less-than-ideal credit score, this was a lifesaver for me.
It’s also worth mentioning that they have their own online vehicle appraisal service. This is a good feature for potential sellers, as it lets you figure out the value of your trade-in vehicle from the comfort of your home.
On the flip side, I did encounter a hiccup with the car I bought. The AC broke down just after a week of use. It was a bit disappointing, but to their credit, they honoured the warranty and got it fixed quickly.

Some of the luxury car brands they offer here include Audi, Acura, and Lexus. They also sell reliable favourites like Toyota and Honda.
Thankfully, it’s quite easy to secure financing from them because they have solid relationships with most loan companies in the city. They can even assist those with bad credit scores!
Another good thing about this dealership is its trade-in program. If you’re looking to upgrade your vehicle, they offer a convenient way to trade in your old car and get value towards a new purchase.
However, do keep in mind that they require clients to book an appointment beforehand, which can be a hassle for some.

What makes this dealership so appealing to me is its debt reduction program, which can help reduce your debt by up to 80%. They also have a TLC (Total Loan Consolidation) program that can provide interest-free monthly payments and strategies to those having difficulties paying off their car loans.
They also offer a trade-in program that makes it easy to upgrade your vehicle. You’ll get a fair value for your old car, which you can put towards the purchase of a new one.
However, it’s worth noting that their vehicle inventory tends to be on the smaller side. They usually have less than 50 vehicles on sale at any given time, which might limit your choices.
