It does come with a high cost, mind you. That’s why I spent months sifting through the best kitchen renovation contractors in Toronto; the last thing I wanted was handing my hard-earned cash to someone who was all talk.
You can skip that process. The kitchen renovators below have been carefully vetted by our team and by Torontonians.
How much does a kitchen renovation project cost in Toronto?
A kitchen renovation project in Toronto costs somewhere between $15,000 and $30,000 for cosmetic upgrades, $30,000–$60,000 for mid-range changes, and $60,000–$100,000-plus for a full-scale remodelling.
Expect the cost to be shaped by the contractor’s experience/expertise, the quality of materials, the project’s scope, and the permits that may have to be acquired.
It’s also smart to prepare for surprise fees caused by hidden problems like water damage, old wiring, and mould. These can add $300–$10,000 (or more) to your bill.

Booking the 2013-founded Astafaneh Construction means dealing with a single contractor for the entire reno journey, which is why they’re also ideal for general contractor needs. I mean, even demolition is part of their range.
In most cases, the process stays direct, following this order: site visits, design work, budgeting, permit handling, construction phase, and walkthroughs.
Many have especially commended the cost planning stage. Pricing is broken down clearly, with the quotes staying competitive.
That said, Astafaneh is more of a “full-on renovation” firm. Much of their portfolio features complete kitchen remodelling, which typically kicks off at $45,000.
Can’t afford to delay reservations either. These guys are quite popular across the GTA, and not only for kitchen work, so you’re not the only one calling them.
Staying patient does pay off, though, as past clients say. The workmanship is often described as “precise” and “clean,” all while still meeting deadlines.

“Beautiful and built to last” is how most interviewees labelled Arch Kitchen Cabinets’ countertops. The praise applies to nearly every kind they specialise in, namely granite, laminate, quartz, and marble.
“Negotiable” is another fitting descriptor. See, this crew is fluid when it comes to pricing and budget requirements, a boon made even sweeter by the clear and honest estimates.
You could also call their builds forward-thinking. We say that because they emphasise storage and energy efficiency.
It’s just a bummer the firm still lacks round-the-clock support in 2026. Queries may not be handled right away outside office hours.
The crew size might also be modest for those looking beyond medium-sized contractors with 15-plus employees.
Those aside, going with Arch isn’t a silly move, especially if it’s punctuality, modern looks, precise installation, and easygoing teams you value more.

Easy Renovation didn’t bag HomeStars awards by chance. For one, they can wrap up in three weeks, whereas most crews follow the 4–8-week industry standard timeline for kitchen renos.
Having access to multiple trades is one reason they can do that. Think plumbers, electricians, designers, and contractors.
The pricing model also moves away from hourly billing. Clients secure a transparent contract for turnkey services at the start, and it bundles the material, project management, and labour costs.
One more transparent bit is their use of life-like 3D renderings. We spoke to people who felt the visuals closely matched the outcomes.
Do note, however, that some have moaned about Zoom calls getting cancelled, with another slot set but not attended by the team. A couple of complaints about unanswered calls have been flagged, too.
Once you’re in the system, though, project timelines rarely fall behind, and comms become quicker.

Upon hearing about iRemodel’s 20-plus-year tenure, we knew they were doing something right.
One of those is flexibility. Peep their portfolio, and you’ll know they’re well-versed in renovating classic, transitional, and modern kitchens.
Sticking to both the budget and schedule is another strong point. We came across clients who claimed the job was done between one and three weeks only.
Daryoush, the lead contractor, also receives consistent praise for his strong design instincts. He usually provides folks with samples from previous works, offering direction on effective choices without disregarding a client’s vision.
If we could add one thing, that’d be a 24/7 helpline. Replies are normally quick, but service hours still end at 7 pm.
Some promotions for kitchen renos would be a welcome touch as well. Last time we called, the specials were only geared toward bathroom work.

You are working with a professional
We recently completed our kitchen renovation with Dave. From the initial meeting, I knew we had made the right choice in selecting him and his outstanding team. We had met with 2 prior contractors and only Dave was able to understand what we wanted from a new kitchen. In addition, the work required that our existing kitchen be expanded. In order to do so, a powder room adjacent to the Kitchen had to be demolished and incorporated in the new design and layout. This was done perfectly by Dave. However, the highlight is knowing that with Dave, you are working with a professional with an eye for detail and very good taste. Once the idea is realized, Dave helps with selecting components for your decision and assists you to its completion. Best of all, a lot of the stress of renovations is alleviated working with Dave and his team of really excellent tradesman. We now have a beautiful kitchen that suits our needs

Apart from being a boutique millwork and cabinetry shop, Devix Kitchens is a custom reno specialist that goes big on the “one team, one timeline” promise.
Our interviewees backed the legitimacy of that, noting they only dealt with Damon (the third-generation owner), who’s reported to be quite hands-on and reachable.
Having a stacked service list also helps. One team oversees demolition, disposal, flooring, installation, electrical work/plumbing coordination, and, of course, cabinetry supply.
Just prepare for the higher costs. Devix crafts luxury showpieces, and those don’t come cheap.
It’s also complete kitchen renos they specialise in, so you’re looking at longer timelines, especially with the 8-week lead time (from sign-off) of their cabinets.
As for whether it’s a worthy spend, that’s up to you. Are you willing to pay at least $100,000 and wait 3–5 months for the perks above, impeccable craftsmanship, a lifetime warranty, and factory precision cabinetry?
Responsive, reasonably priced
We refaced the kitchen cabinets. all the original doors and drawers were replaced. Devix were on time, responsive, reasonably priced and the workmanship was great. They helped with style selection and colour. I would highly recommend Devix and would definitely use them again.
