The truth is, my bathroom gave me no choice. First it was the leaky faucet, then the cabinet door that wouldn’t stay shut, and finally the shower that seemed to have a mind of its own.
Instead of continuously fixing one thing after another, I decided it was time for a full remodel. Now the space feels brand new, and it’s easily one of my favourite rooms in the house!
Since I know how big a difference the right team can make, I’m sharing some of the best bathroom remodelers in Toronto to help you get started.
How much does it cost to remodel a bathroom in Toronto?
A bathroom remodelling project in Toronto usually costs around $20,000. Take note that certain factors may affect your price, such as the size of the space, the finishes you choose, and whether you’re doing a light refresh or a full gut job.
How We Chose
1. Sosna Home Renovations

Services offered: Custom layouts, fixture upgrades, tile work, cabinetry, lighting, and more
Address: 7250 Keele St, Unit 372, Vaughan
Phone number: +1 416-888-7366
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-FRI)
I felt confident hiring Sosna Home Renovations to redo my bathroom because they have more than 20 years of experience. It also helps that they offer free consultation, so getting design advice was easy.
They were thorough with the work and even guided me toward eco-friendly choices like low-flow fixtures and recycled glass countertops. The finish felt solid and well thought out.
I also appreciated the 2-year warranty, which is decent.
On top of that, they added me to their Happy Client Club, which comes with discounts on future projects and access to their exclusive handyman service. That feels useful for any small fixes that might come up later.
However, my project took two months, which felt slow. It’s also a bit disappointing that they only work in Mississauga and north of Eglinton, so those living in the downtown area can’t use their services.
We are very happy with the work they completed for us
“Sosna recently renovated our bathrooms, and we are very happy with the work they completed for us. When we initially met they encouraged us to get more estimates and even provided us with good websites to find companies. We felt that this was a good sign as it shows they are confident in the work they provide. I think it is also important to note that Sosna always responded to our emails/phone calls in a timely manner and was always on time for meetings. Sergiy, our site leader, was prompt, tidy and very hardworking. When we had questions he always took the time to explain and never made us feel like our concerns were not important. His workmanship was excellent. I was also very pleased that they were able to finish the work ahead of schedule. I will definitely be recommending Sosna to friends and family, and I will definitely be contacting them for future projects that I may have.”

Our remodeled bathroom is worthy of any architectural magazine
“Our remodeled bathroom is worthy of any architectural magazine. Our designer, Camila, had an exacting eye and fabulous suggestions that all came together to deliver us a fabulous retreat. No one would realize the extent of the work that was done to complete this project. The original bathroom was demolished to the joists and built back according to schedule, with all work completed by a talented and coordinated crew of professionals. These guys restored our faith in contractors. They never missed an opportunity to display the professionalism of their customer support staff. Communication was above anything you would normally expect: clear, friendly and concise. The way they behaved buffered the disturbance that any remodel causes. We will be back with more projects and we’re not just saying that because of their final champagne toast, shared in the finished product. We do not, as a rule, make recommendations but it would be wrong not to recommend Sosna.”

2. Easy Renovation

Services offered: Full renovations, powder room additions, tub to shower conversions, walk‑in showers, and more
Address: 1213 Caledonia Rd Unit B, North York
Phone number: +1 416-323-3419
Business hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-SAT)
Easy Renovation has been around since 2020, and they’re a company I’d point to if you want peace of mind with a bathroom project. They cover every part of the remodelling and can even do special jobs like converting a tub into a shower.
What I really like is that they keep all the work in-house, so you’re not dealing with subcontractors. Every client gets a dedicated project manager, which helps them finish most bathrooms in about seven days.
They also back their work with a 2-year warranty and carry $5 million in liability insurance, which gives a good level of protection. Financing is available, too, which can make the cost easier to manage.
The downsides are that they book up quickly and their prices are a bit higher than what smaller contractors might charge.
The entire process was seamless
“Easy Reno and Wally were absolutely amazing. We had our bathroom remodelled, and from start to finish, the entire process was seamless. I would highly recommend Easy Reno for any of your home renovation or remodelling needs.”

3. Handy Solutions

Services offered: Heated floors and towel warmers installation, custom lighting and LED niches, tiling, plumbing, and more
Address: 1140 Yonge St
Phone number: +1 416-577-3368
Business hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (MON-SAT)
Handy Solutions has been around since 2011 and has completed more than 4,000 renovation projects. They mainly serve the GTA but will also take on work in areas like Muskoka and the Blue Mountains, which gives them a pretty wide reach.
Most bathroom remodels are wrapped up in about two to three weeks, though custom finishes can stretch the timeline. What really stood out to me is their 5-year workmanship warranty, which is longer than what many contractors offer.
They also have a proactive warranty where they check in after a week, after a month, and again after a year to make sure everything is holding up.
It’s easy to get started with a free phone quote, but keep in mind they charge $500 for an on-site consultation, and they require a 30% deposit before work begins.
The quality of his work is also outstanding
“We loved working with Tian to re-do our shower. Throughout the project, he was very responsive, patient, and provided us with a lot of great suggestions and guidance along the way. He went out of his way to help us with other things around the house even if they weren’t in scope. When things would come up unexpectedly, he let us know right away and he was transparent in his communications. The quality of his work is also outstanding. We look forward to working with Tian and the team at Handy Solutions on our next project.”

4. Toronto Bath Centre

Services offered: Tiling, fixture installations, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, and more
Address: 606 Mt Pleasant Rd
Phone number: +1 416-482-4319
Business hours:
9:30 AM – 5:00 PM (MON-FRI)
10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (SAT)
Toronto Bath Centre has been around for more than 25 years and is one of the more experienced remodelers in the city I’ve added to this list.
I like that they handle the entire process from design through to project management, which saves you from having to coordinate multiple trades yourself.
Their main focus is full bathroom remodels, including three-piece and four-piece setups, and they also work on condo bathrooms.
They also have experience making bathrooms more senior- and PWD-friendly, with additions like walk-in showers and grab bars.
They make it easier to get started by offering financing and free in-home consultations, which is helpful if you’re working with a tight budget.
Unfortunately, I find their warranty policy to be a letdown, as it only covers manufacturer warranties and doesn’t include a workmanship guarantee. Their prices are also a bit higher than the average.
Working with TBC has been the smoothest experience
“We could not be happier with our bathroom renovation! The result is truly outstanding and has really upscaled our condo. I am so glad we chose the Toronto Bath Center for this project—of all the renovations we have done, working with TBC has been the smoothest experience. Alina was wonderful in helping us with the design and selecting the right fixtures, tiles, paint etc… to create the look and feel we wanted. She is truly an expert and we appreciate all the clear communication throughout the process. The contractors were professional, knowledgeable, and perfectionists. We had no issues with our condo building as it was clear TBC knows how to work within the regulations for condos, which made our experience seamless. Highly recommend!”

We are very happy with the results
“This is long overdue. We had a complete renovation of three bathrooms and the kitchen of our new house in 2023. We are very happy with the results. Issues have been dealt with each time by Alina and her team in a timely manner. Alina always responds to our queries promptly. We are very happy with our renovation overall.”

5. Rostica Renovations

Services offered: Layout redesign, demolition, plumbing and electrical upgrades, waterproofing, tiling, fixture installation, and more
Address: 130 Baldwin St
Phone number: +1 647-806-5802
Business hours:
8:30 AM – 9:00 PM (MON-SAT)
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (SUN)
If you’re looking to save some money on a bathroom remodel, Rostica Renovations is worth a look. They were founded in 2020 and take on projects that begin around $13,000, which feels fairly competitive for Toronto.
What caught my eye are the seasonal promotions they run in both summer and winter, so it’s possible to shave a couple of thousand off the total if you time it right.
They also have a referral program where every successful referral earns you a gift voucher that can be used toward future projects.
Furthermore, they provide free consultations to help plan things out, and they back their work with a 1-year workmanship warranty.
There are downsides worth noting, though. Their warranty is noticeably shorter than what most of their competitors provide. It can also be tough to secure a booking during peak seasons, especially when their discounts are active.
Did a great job on our renovations
“Emin did a great job on our renovations. He was easy to talk with and very cooperative on project changes. A pleasure to work with.”

Choosing Rostica for the job was a no-brainer for me
“This was the 2nd project Emin completed in my condo this year. Choosing Rostica for the job was a no-brainer for me. His speed and workmanship is top-notch and unlike some contractors, he actually has an eye for design AND will share his honest opinion if you ask him. I trust his expertise from start to finish and I’m never disappointed. As long as Emin is in business, my money will go to him for any type of reno project. You’ll be super pleased with the final results if yours does too.”
