Erol Custom Tailor is a long-running shop in Yorkville, led by Erol Bayram, who’s been tailoring for over 40 years. I chose them for my custom suit because I was impressed by how everything is made in-house, with thousands of fabrics from top manufacturers like Loro Piana and Scabal.
They offered free styling, which made it easy to choose a three-piece suit that actually fits my body and posture. I also appreciated their Perfect Fit Guarantee, which means they’ll keep adjusting your outfit until it feels right.
They even delivered my suit straight to my door. I didn’t need it, but they also offer rush services if you’re short on time.
The only downside is the lack of clear pricing info, so you’ll need to ask. Also, expect a three-week wait unless you pay extra for faster turnaround.

Sydney’s is a tailoring shop on Queen West that’s been around since 2005. In my opinion, they’re a solid option for anyone planning a big wedding since they offer groomsmen packages.
These packages include group fittings and coordinated looks, with a decent discount for getting multiple suits at once. They also do made-to-measure and full bespoke suits if you’re after something more personal or unique.
For those on a tighter budget or timeline, they carry ready-to-wear suits that still hold up well in terms of quality and fit. If you’re unsure which route to take, they offer free consultations to help you figure things out.
On the downside, their hours are limited to noon until six, which can make scheduling a fitting a bit of a hassle. It’s also worth noting that some customers have reported rude behaviour from staff, which is disappointing.

Not everyone has heard of Garrison Bespoke, but their suits definitely get noticed. They’ve been around since 2007 and even dressed the cast of Suits!
Among their huge variety of suits, the one that really caught my eye was their bulletproof suit. It’s lined with carbon nanotube tech for ballistic protection. Not quite John Wick, but it’s built to handle serious situations if needed.
They mostly do fully custom suits, but you can also get tailored denim and shirts if you’re after something more casual. Delivery is an option too, which is handy if you’re not based downtown.
Sadly, most of the stuff I mentioned is quite pricey. They also require clients to book an appointment first, so planning ahead is a must.

If you’re looking into custom tailoring and want something that feels genuinely high-end, The London Bespoke Club is worth a look. They’ve been around since 2014 and offer a full range of garments, including suits, tuxedos, and dress shirts.
Their fabric selection is serious business. You’ll find premium materials from top mills in Italy and the UK, with options that suit both classic and modern tastes. Some notable mills they work with are Dormeuil and Vitale Barberis Canonico.
Another thing that impressed me is their reach. They regularly host trunk shows outside of Toronto, so you don’t even need to travel to their shop to see their work. They also offer virtual consultations to make it easier for new clients to get started.
Still, TLBC is on the pricier end with a starting price point of $1,595. It’s also frustrating that they sometimes don’t respond to enquiries.
