Panasonic Theatre, Toronto

State-of-the-art Live Theatre

The Panasonic Theatre is one of the four major theaters in Toronto owned and operated by Mirvish Productions.

Built on the site of a private residence, which was transformed to a cinema and then later to live theatre, the Panasonic theatre was rebuilt from scratch in 2005 as a new, contemporary live theatre and concert venue.

The small theater is not as good as other Mirvish theatres in size and grandeur, however, it has excellent acoustic and fairly comfortable seats. Plus, you’ll get superb views no matter where you sit.

So far, it has hosted several noteworthy performances including Bluemen Group, We Will Rock You, Man In Black – Tribute to Johnny Cash, Potted Potter, Forever Plaid, Bloodless and Around the World.

Located at Yonge Street, south of Bloor Street, the theater is just steps away from exclusive Bloor-Yorkville shopping district. If you like shopping, you’ll find tons of designer boutiques, branded retail shops and antique shops. There are several elegant restaurants where you can relish delicious cuisine before or after the show.

God of Carnage

God of Carnage is a triple Tony Awards winning finely-honed comedy play by Yasmina Reza. The side-splitting comedy begins when two couples meet to discuss a playground altercation involving their kids. A civilized discussion rapidly turns into uncivilized taunts and verbal fights. A must see hilarious comedy!
