Superkids Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics has become our go-to clinic for my son’s dental care. It was founded in 2020 by Dr. Karen Stallaert, a pediatric dentist with more than a decade of experience in the field.
My son loves visiting here because of their entertainment options, like massive TV sets and gaming consoles. He never had a dull moment here, that’s for sure!
What I particularly appreciate is the wide range of treatments available. Beyond general dental care, they offer specialized services like root canal therapy, dental crowns, and emergency dental services.
Knowing that I can rely on one place for all of my son’s dental needs brings me great peace of mind.
The only downside is that Superkids operates as a non-assignment office, which means I always have to pay upfront and then seek reimbursement from our insurance company.

However, I find it disappointing that some parents have reported encountering rude behaviour from their staff.

One of Dr. Turk’s notable strengths is his ability to comfortably treat children with special needs, thanks to his knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
The clinic itself deserves high praise for its innovative features. Notably, it boasts an in-suite surgical suite, allowing Dr. Turk and his team to perform both minor and major oral surgeries on-site.
Moreover, Toronto Kids Dental goes the extra mile in making visits pleasant for both children and parents. While kids are entertained, parents can relax in the dedicated spa room, enjoying complimentary spa treatments.
However, it’s worth noting that their prices are slightly above average. I suggest you take advantage of their financing options whenever possible.

It’s also a good thing that they accept CDCP financial assistance to ensure that dental care is accessible to most families. Furthermore, they also provide financing options for those who don’t qualify for CDCP.
However, it’s worth noting that their appointment slots tend to fill up quickly, especially after school hours. It’s also disappointing to learn that they sometimes cancel appointments at the last minute.
