MellyFit Nutrition is a popular provider of nutritional plans in High Park North. It was founded by Melissa Cosentino shortly after becoming a certified nutritionist in 2020.
They primarily offer nutritional counselling, which follows a combined set of objectives, like fitness goals and custom meal plans, to improve a client’s health. Melissa and her team also offer a unique service called the 7-Day Holistic Cleanse program.
As its name suggests, this program aims to improve your gut health within only a week. In essence, it serves as a mini-detox program for those who are unable to commit to longer treatments.
I also love that they offer plenty of functional tests, like GI mapping and Candida tests, which they use to create more personalised meal plans.
Unfortunately, their prices are a bit higher than the average. It might be good to check out other options first.

I absolutely noticed a significant difference in my overall digestion
“Melissa is wonderful! We met four times over the course of two months for personalized nutrition planning. Melissa asked thoughtful questions to help me get to the root of my digestive issues, and helped build me a meal plan and shopping list, with tailored supplements and vitamins, to get my guy back on track. After working together, I absolutely noticed a significant difference in my overall digestion, energy levels, and bloating. I would highly recommend her to anyone!”

Furthermore, their team also offers diet plans suited for weight loss and muscle building.
All of their services are customised for each patient and are formulated by their highly skilled team of registered dietitians. One of their best dietitians is Maja Kujundzic, who also works as a key dietitian for Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare since 2019.
Thankfully, it’s very easy to enjoy their services, as they offer these through online sessions. They even offer nutrition workshops for corporate clients who are interested in improving their employees’ health and wellness.
Sadly, they don’t offer in-person appointments, which can be an annoyance to those who dislike virtual sessions.
Always offered more than I asked for
“I connected with Maja for sustainable weight gain & managing bloating issues. She was thorough in her assessment and offered robust meal plans, strategies and alternatives. Every session was informative and she always offered more than I asked for. Great resource for anyone looking for extra support to develop healthy eating habits.”

Phone number: +1 416-451-3573
Business hours:
9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (MON-FRI)

JM Nutrition is a nutritional counselling clinic started by Julie Mancuso in 2006. As one of their clients, I can safely say that they’re one of the better options you can try in Toronto.
A key reason why is the rich diversity of services they provide. Not only do they offer weight loss or weight gain meal plans, but they also offer ones that are designed for strength training, skin health improvement, and postnatal nutrition.
Personally, I take advantage of their men’s health nutrition plan, as it provides a clear way to improve my overall physical and mental health.
Another reason why I chose this clinic is due to its Venngo MemberPerks partnership. I enjoy a 10% discount here since a company I work with is also partnered with Venngo.
The only thing I dislike here is the occasional wait due to the high demand for their services.
The weekly meal plan she provided was incredibly detailed
“I had the pleasure of working with Natalie Fraser, and she has transformed my approach to food and nutrition. She taught me so much about different food choices and created a meal plan that was catered to my specific needs and goals. The weekly meal plan she provided was incredibly detailed, including recipes with photos, serving sizes, and snacks to keep me on track. Since following her guidance, I’ve noticed positive changes in my body composition, increased energy levels, and an overall boost in my well-being. I loved the meal plan so much that I recently went back to her for an additional one! Natalie is not only knowledgeable but also supportive and attentive. I highly recommend her :)”

Currently, they offer services like personalised meal planning, nutrition counselling, weight management, and chronic disease management. They also provide comprehensive DNA tests to further enhance their services.
However, what I do find interesting is that they also offer menu reviews for restaurants and catering services. Their dietitians will provide suggestions on how you can prepare healthier meals and make them more visually appealing.
Unfortunately, they don’t do in-person appointments and can only assist clients via phone or video calls.
A very rewarding experience
“Working with Nishaat to fine tune my eating habits to meet my wellness goals was a very rewarding experience. She listened as I recounted my struggles with unhealthy snacking and recommended a meal plan that could be easily followed. I still go back to this plan when I need a reset.”

10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (SAT)
Kyle Byron is a nutritionist who’s been offering his services to the Toronto public since 2006. With the help of his team of registered dietitians and kinesiologists, he offers personalised nutrition services to men, women, children, and athletes.
Depending on your needs, they can provide nutrition plans that specialise in weight loss, muscle gain, sports nutrition, and even gut health. And if you’re looking to improve your body fast, they can customise these plans to include personal training too.
Another thing I like about Kyle Byron is that he makes the extra effort to ensure you can follow his nutrition plans through his cooking classes. Teaching someone how to cook isn’t usually done by a nutritionist, after all.
However, it should be noted that they tend to get fully booked quickly.
I saw amazing results in terms of my fitness and lifestyle
“Fantastic service! I’ve been working with Kyle for the past year, and I saw amazing results in terms of my fitness and lifestyle. He taught me concepts in such an easy and intuitive manner that it was easy for me to adapt. Also he helped me severely in terms of my meal plan. Overall, I strongly recommend anyone who is looking to get fit to ask Kyle Byron Nutrition for help.”

Kyle is a spectacular nutrition coach and, without hyperbole, life-changing
“Kyle is a spectacular nutrition coach and, without hyperbole, life-changing. Since working together in less than a year, I have dropped 30 lbs, almost entirely of fat, gotten in the best shape of my life, finished 5/2500 in a long bike ride, and dropped body fat percentage from 25 to 15%. Kyle’s results speak for themselves. Dude is a miracle worker.”
