Sail in style with the 3 best yacht rentals in Toronto!

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

There’s simply something about celebrating on the water, with the skyline glowing, the music pulsing, and a drink in hand as the yacht slices through Lake Ontario.

I’ve hosted and attended birthdays, bachelorette parties (if you need party ideas for yours, check this out), proposals, and even just-because nights out on these decks.

It’s not just about fancy boats, either. The best yacht rentals in Toronto are also about who’s steering, what’s served, and how smoothly your night sails, as these we’re reviewing will illustrate.

How much do yacht rentals cost in Toronto?

Yacht rentals in Toronto typically start at around CAD $125 for simpler or smaller vessels.
For larger, party-friendly yachts with full crews, higher guest capacities, and premium amenities, you’re looking at CAD $400 to $800 per hour, or even multi-hour packages climbing into the CAD $1,200 range, depending on customization.

How We Chose

Licensed crew and safety compliance – We checked if the yacht operator has Transport Canada-certified captains and crew, plus proper insurance and safety gear, for smooth sailing and peace of mind.
Transparent pricing and flexible packages – We looked for companies with clear hourly rates, group discounts, and upfront minimum-hour details. The best ones offer customizable packages for partying, sightseeing, or corporate events.
Vessel variety and amenities – A solid provider should have a solid range of party yachts, private charters, and sailboat cruises, equipped with sound systems, catering options, and liquor licenses for a complete experience.
Service coverage/dock locations – A strong provider will offer convenient boarding spots downtown that are easily accessible. We gave bonus points for flexible time slots and support for a wide variety of cruise types (intimate to large parties).

To take the stress away from an upcoming client presentation, our office decided to swap boardrooms for a yacht deck for a day. Lucky for us, Gone Sailing Adventures delivered the perfect escape.

Their fleet ranges from intimate sailboats to luxury party yachts, all crewed by licensed captains who make sailing feel effortless. Prices start at around CAD $125 per hour, and the group packages come with transparent rates, which is rare in event planning.

We went for a private charter, complete with wine tasting, which felt like a mini-vacation rather than a day trip.

The staff were all Transport Canada-certified and handled everything from catering to music, so all we needed to do was chill and enjoy the view.

They’ve earned their reputation via rave reviews by corporate clients and couples alike. Safety compliance, flexible scheduling, and excellent communication make them a dependable choice for yacht rentals.

The only downside? Premium perks like custom menus and sunset itineraries come at a higher cost, and weekend bookings fill up fast.

Pros

  • Offers a diverse fleet
  • Transparent pricing with hourly rates
  • Transport Canada-certified crew
  • Unique experiences including wine tasting

Cons

  • Premium extras
  • High demand on weekends and holidays

The crew was friendly and professional

Gone Sailing Adventures delivered an incredible sunset cruise experience. The crew was friendly and professional, and the Toronto skyline views were unforgettable. It was the perfect way to wrap up a busy week in Toronto. Highly recommend for both personal outings and corporate groups!

We took in the city skyline’s twinkling lights

Our experience with Gone Sailing was like a mini Below Deck Sailing Yacht experience with the incredible Captain and crew, Rob and Rob! We sailed around the harbour, explored the lagoons of the Toronto Islands and took in the city skyline’s twinkling lights to top it all off!

My favourite nephew was begging his parents for a birthday that was part yacht cruise, part adrenaline rush, and they didn’t know where to look. Enter Aunt Adventure (me!), who recommended Aqualux to make it all happen without them breaking a sweat.

On that day, the adults were mostly lounging around, clinking glasses, while the young ones zipped across Lake Ontario on Jet Skis like pros. Rates start at CAD $300 per hour, with bundled yacht-and-Jet Ski packages that make sense for large groups.

Their fleet offers sleek private yachts, party boats, and Jet Ski add-ons, so it’s safe to say the licensed captains and crew members know how to handle a party on water.

They nailed every detail, too: music, refreshments, and even waterproof GoPro mounts for the thrill-seekers!

My entire family liked how Aqualux delivered high-energy experiences with polish, so we’re bookmarking them for future birthdays, anniversaries, or any excuse to hit the lake.

However, the Jet Ski combo package did cost us a pretty penny, and it had a stricter timeslot. Also, fuel surcharges can sneak up on longer trips.

Pros

  • Yacht and Jet Ski combo packages
  • Safety-certified, licensed captains and crew
  • Transparent pricing
  • Includes unique touches

Cons

  • Not the cheapest
  • High demand during the summer

An incredible experience from start to finish

Aqualux delivered an incredible experience from start to finish. The yacht was pristine, the jet skis were powerful and well-maintained, and the crew was professional and friendly. Everything ran smoothly, and the service exceeded expectations.

Nothing but good things to say

Exceptional quality. Nothing but good things to say, the staff is so accommodating and friendly. Not sure when I’ll be back, but I’m looking forward to it already.

Entertaining foreign clients on Lake Ontario could’ve gone either way, but Charters Bay managed to make it feel like a sophisticated boardroom on the water (just with better views and more casual clothes).

Their yacht set the perfect tone: elegant, polished, quiet, and just luxe enough to impress without trying too hard. We got them because they specialize in private charters and corporate cruises, with licensed captains and crew, insured vessels, and liquor-compliant service.

The staff’s attention to detail was top-tier, from chilled wine to subtle background music (no loud, party bangers), so the conversation flowed naturally. It was a seamless experience from the time we boarded at the downtown dock to docking back in time for sunset selfies.

Pricing starts at CAD $250 to $400 per hour, with group packages that include catering and flexible sailing hours for longer meetings or dinners. Suffice it to say, the experience resulted in a positive, enriching experience for both our office and our clients.

That said, the custom menus, decor, and weekday bookings cost extra, with a strict cancellation policy for high-end packages. Still, for closing deals and sealing partnerships, this is Toronto hospitality done right on the water.

Pros

  • Specializes in private and corporate yacht charters
  • Flexible packages
  • Transport Canada-approved crew
  • Premium amenities available

Cons

  • High-end add-ons come with steep surcharges
  • Strict cancellation policies on premium bookings

Customer Reviews

Skylar and Captain Kim were amazing

Skylar and Captain Kim were amazing and made my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday party an amazing memory. Everyone has a great time and would highly recommend them.

J is a very competent captain

I can not believe the unprecedented level of customer service First Mate Mohammed and J gave us. He was so courteous and comforting towards our guests. On first impression, he had to be stern and strict, but that is only to establish that this form of transportation is not a “party boat” but an esteemed yacht that needs its respect. J is a very competent captain, and you can trust him to get you where you need to go. From the moment we set sail, we could tell this wasn’t going to be a typical, calm cruise. The drinks were flowing, and our birthday girl had a lot to say. But our captain kept it cool, reserved and was chill. Pick him before anyone else.
