Treat yourself at the best facial spas in Toronto!

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Work has been pretty full-on lately, and the stress combined with lack of sleep started catching up with me. My skin felt dry, and those eye bags were getting harder to ignore. I knew I had to do something to take care of myself.

So I started fixing my sleep schedule and booked a facial to help my skin bounce back. It made a real difference! My face felt smoother and looked fresher, and I walked out feeling way better than when I walked in.

I know a lot of people are dealing with the same thing. Life gets busy, and it’s easy to forget to look after ourselves. That’s why I put together a list of the best facial spas in Toronto to help anyone who’s looking for a little refresh.

How much do facial treatments cost in Toronto?

A facial treatment in Toronto will usually cost you around $130. However, please note that your price can vary quite a bit depending on the type of facial treatment and your preferred spa.

How We Chose

Experience and credentials – We looked for facial spas with aestheticians who have at least three years of experience and have received training from recognized institutions, such as Seneca Polytechnic and Centennial College.
Treatment quality – We considered how effective and consistent their facials are based on client feedback, the products they use, and whether treatments are tailored to different skin types and concerns.
Cleanliness and comfort – We checked if these spas maintain clean, relaxing spaces where clients feel safe and respected. This includes hygiene practices, room setup, and how welcoming the staff are.
Customer service – We paid attention to how well these spas communicate, from booking to follow-up. We also assessed whether they respond quickly to any enquiries or concerns.
Price fairness – We evaluated whether their prices are reasonable given the quality of service, the experience of the staff, and the packages or seasonal deals they offer to make regular visits more affordable.

Beauty Room in Liberty Village has been around for over a decade and is a good pick if you’re after facials that go beyond the usual.

Out of everything they offer, their Fire and Ice Facial stands out the most for me. It starts with a resurfacing masque and finishes with a cooling one that leaves your skin smooth and glowy.

Their Oxygen Glass Facial is also worth a look, especially if your skin is feeling dry or tired. The oxygen infusion helps hydrate and plump, giving you that fresh, well-rested look without much fuss.

They also run a Beauty Club membership, which is handy if you’re planning to go regularly. You get discounted facials and priority booking, which makes it easier to stay consistent.

The only real downside is the price, as their treatments are a bit pricier than what most would expect.

Pros

  • 10 years of experience
  • Oxygen Glass Facial hydrates and plumps tired skin
  • Fire and Ice Facial for smooth and glowy skin
  • Has a membership program

Cons

  • Slightly above-average prices

The fresh feeling you get from it is great

“I love Niki and her Fire & Ice Facial, just the name itself is very cool. We don’t have anything like this in Russia… The fresh feeling you get from it is great. I’ve been really needing this boost of colour (I felt how my blood was moving again) it made me feel young and restful, smoother texture, and cleanliness. I think it’s a must before summer hits, it really refreshed my skin.

Sometimes I can get a bit of redness and sensitivity. My skin reacts to any kind of interference and quite often doesn’t like it. With Niki’s care, I left the spa not worried about anything. We applied some really nice SPF in the end and off I went with my day. Plus, I got a super relaxing head massage as a bonus.

Anyway, love Niki, love Beauty Room. Really is the only place to spa in Toronto.”

Used products that felt cooling and nourishing on my skin

“I had an amazing facial with Niki. We had a nice and thorough consultation and right off the bat she made me feel very comfortable with her open and friendly energy. She addressed all my skin concerns and throughout the facial gave me tips that I can include in my skincare routine. She used products that felt cooling and nourishing on my skin. She had a gentle but firming touch and I left feeling very rejuvenated. I immediately got so many compliments on my glowing skin. I can’t wait to come back! 😇”

Elmwood Spa offers a classic spa experience inside a heritage building where old-school charm meets modern wellness. They’ve been around since 1982, so they know their way around facial treatments.

Their menu is broad, but two facials really caught my attention. First is the Remedy Facial, which uses calming, plant-based products to soothe irritated skin. The second one is the NuFACE Microcurrent Facial, a techy treatment that uses microcurrents to boost collagen and firm up the skin.

You can get these facials at slightly better rates through their spa packages, which bundle treatments with extras. Regulars can also join their membership program for special discounts and deals.

Just keep in mind they’re pretty popular now, so getting an appointment can be tricky. Some clients have also told me that staff occasionally run late, which might be due to how busy the place gets.

Pros

  • More than 40 years of experience
  • Remedy Facial for calming sensitive skin
  • NuFACE Facial stimulates collagen production
  • Offers spa packages
  • Has a membership program

Cons

  • Tends to get fully booked quickly
  • Occasionally late staff

My facial left me glowing

I took my time picking a facial spa and ended up going with Studios Vis A Vis. They’ve been around for 40 years, and their Bespoke Facial caught my attention.

It runs for about 105 minutes and is fully customized to your skin’s needs. For me, they used some advanced skin devices, vitamin masks, and even a facial massage that left my skin feeling fresh. It’s not cheap, but I saw real results.

I asked around and found out they also offer the Botinol Facial, which is a non-invasive alternative to Botox that helps smooth out wrinkles.

There’s also the Korean Glass Skin Facial, which uses brightening serums to give your skin that poreless, dewy look.

One thing to note is their response time. They say the spa can take up to 24 hours to reply to enquiries. Mine wasn’t that long, but I did have to wait a bit.

  • 40 years of experience
  • Has a fully customized facial treatment
  • Offers non-invasive anti-ageing options
  • Can do Korean Glass Skin Facial treatments

  • Above-average prices

The services are some of the best I have experienced in Toronto

“The most brilliant part of the Signature Facial at Vis a Vis is the consideration and tailoring which goes into determining what your skin needs right now, and what needs to be focused on. The services are some of the best I have experienced in Toronto.

The staff at Vis a Vis is always knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I trust the team there, and always leave feeling fantastic, and even a little younger!”

Skinn Ritual is a facial spa that feels more like a wellness retreat than a typical skincare spot. They focus on what they call functional facial therapy, which basically means they’re treating your skin and stress at the same time.

Techniques like buccal massage, where they work inside the mouth to release jaw tension, are part of the mix. They also offer Kobido, a Japanese massage that’s meant to energize the face.

What stood out to me was their use of traditional healing tools. The Thai herbal poultice is a warm compress filled with herbs that helps with skin inflammation. They also offer the Hinoki Power Lift Tree, which uses wood-based tools to boost circulation and give your face a natural lift.

However, their lack of a proper online booking system is disappointing. You’ll need to call or email to book, and they charge $130 for skin consultations.

Pros

  • Almost 10 years of experience
  • Rare techniques like buccal massage and Kobido
  • Thai herbal poultice adds therapeutic depth
  • Hinoki Power Lift Tree treatment offers natural face lifting
  • Offers prepaid packages with special discounts

Cons

  • No proper online booking system
  • $130 skin consultation fee

The facial experience was amazing and I definitely felt relaxed afterwards

“My first facial with Sanda was an excellent experience! She is very knowledgeable and I have learned a lot from her based on my skin type. The facial experience was amazing and I definitely felt relaxed afterwards as she also did some massage. Will definitely recommend her to my friends and family.”

The only place I will be going to for my facials

“As a newcomer to Toronto and a person who often goes for facials I have researched the top rated facial locations and I found Sanda and she will definitely be the only place I will be going to for my facials. Sanda is so professional, clean and gives you detailed information about your skin type and recommends types of products for your skin. Her detailed care makes her unique. I will definitely be booking appointments for my teenage kids who have skin outbreaks as well. Thank you Sanda, I can say it was the best facial I have done in many years.”
