A Guide to Partying and Playing All Day Long at Balls of Fun

balls-of-fun-toronto

In my family, Sunday is the designated family outing day. Playgrounds are one of our go-to destinations, and one we keep visiting is Balls of Fun.

This playground has everything that my little nieces and nephews love. There are several play features like slides and ball pits, and there are also fun programs like musicals that they can join.

If you and your kiddos also want to join us in the fun here, here’s a guide for your visit!

How to Get There

By car: Driving is the best way to reach Balls of Fun. There’s a dedicated parking lot at this playground.

By bus and train: It’s trickier to get to the playground via public transit. I recommend you ride the train to Union Station, then take the bus to Vega Boulevard at Laird Road. From there, walk to the playground, which should take around 20 minutes.

  • No nuts and peanuts are allowed inside.
  • No food and drinks are allowed in the play areas. There’s a designated eating area if you want to eat a snack.

What to Do

Let your child run wild

From: ballsoffungym

Since Balls of Fun is a playground, the best thing to do is let your child run wild. You can even join in the fun!

Whenever I come here with my little nieces and nephews, I play along with their random games like racing challenges (who can climb the net faster or who can shoot the most in basketball). Somehow they always beat me!

Join the morning program with your baby

From: ballsoffungym

My sister has attended the morning program multiple times, and she has nothing but positive things to say about it.

From what I can understand, it features physical activities that let parents bond with their young children. The activities include group singing, storytime sessions, and rhythm games.

My sister loves coming here with her babies because they get to hone their motor skills and spatial awareness, all the while bonding with her. Plus, she and her babies get to meet new friends!

Host a fun party

From: ballsoffungym

Hosting a fun party is another fun activity you can do here since this playground allows you to rent the whole space. The best part is the party doesn’t have to be a birthday. You can also have a school trip, a reunion, or another special event!

We mostly come here for birthdays, but sometimes, we rent the space for a family outing. While the adults are in the eating area, gossiping about anything and everything, the children are out in the playground proper, having the time of their lives.
