When it comes to hanging out with friends or watching a live sports match (especially football), chicken wings are my go-to snacks. Biting into wings coated in a delectable sauce is always satisfying, and they also taste great with a pint of cold beer!
Fortunately for me, many restaurants and bars in Toronto offer chicken wings, and they always have interesting flavors to try. Some places even have all-you-can-eat promos! Out of all these, I highly recommend the following.
Sportsnet Grill
– From: sportsnetgrill
Address: 1 Blue Jays Way, Rogers Center
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—7 am to 12 am
- Saturday and Sunday—7:30 am to 12 am
Contact Number: +14163415045
Sportsnet Grill has always been one of the most well-known sports bars in Toronto because it provides a good vantage point into Rogers Center. But another reason I love this place is that it offers unlimited wings during game days!
I’ve tried all the flavors, and so far, my favorite has to be the chipotle pineapple because I love the combination of smoky and sweet (and a little bit of tangy). The roasted garlic blue cheese is also a great choice. It’s salty, creamy, and garlicky!
Pro Tips: During Blue Jays Game Day, book the window seat for the best view! Test your sports knowledge by joining the Leafs Trivia Night. |
The Wing Spot
– From: thewingspot.to
Address: 201 Markham Rd, Signature Plaza
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—4 to 11 pm
- Friday—4 pm to 12 am
- Saturday—2 pm to 12 am
- Sunday—2 to 10 pm
Contact Number: +14165089698
The Wing Spot truly is a paradise for wing lovers. This restaurant has up to 100 sauce flavors! Even though I’ve come to this place multiple times, I still haven’t tried all of them!
I usually go for the breaded wings because I love them crispy, but you can opt for non-breaded and even boneless chicken bites. As for the flavor, my go-to option is honey parmesan. Salty and sweet flavors are an elite combination for me.
Pro Tip: This restaurant has some deals you can take advantage of. I recommend the party deal, which gives you 10 lbs of wings and several sides (e.g., fries, onion rings, and garlic bread). This is perfect if you’re dining with a group. |
Ding-a-Wing
– From: mydingawing
Address: 171 College St
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday—11:30 am to 10 pm
- Saturday and Sunday—5 to 10 pm
Ding-a-Wing specializes in all things fried chicken. More often than not, I order the chicken sandwiches because they’re incredibly filling, but I also love getting the wings, especially when I’m dining with friends.
The wings here are brined, so the flavors really seep into the meat. I also love that they’re served with a side or two. I recommend pairing your wings with smashed spiced fries for a little kick of heat or pasta salad to make your meal a little bit more nutritious.
Pro Tip: If you’re interested in hosting this restaurant’s catering services, you can send an inquiry to [email protected]. |
Tebasaki Wing House
– From: tebaski.wing.house
Address: 638 College St Ground Floor
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—6 pm to 2:30 am
Contact Number: +14379139488
If you love all things spicy, then you might like Tebasaki Wing House because many of the wing flavors here will surely leave your mouth numb and tingling.
My favorite flavor is the habanero buffalo, which also happens to be the spiciest of all. I always end up with watery eyes and nose after eating wings with this flavor, but I have no regrets every time.
If you can’t handle the spice, you might like honey garlic. Its sweet-garlicky flavors serve as palate cleansers for me.
Pro Tip: This restaurant only accepts walk-ins (no reservations). |
Duff’s Famous Wings
– From: duffsfamouswing
Address: 558 College St
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday—12 to 10 pm
- Friday and Saturday—12 to 10:30 pm
Contact Number: +14169634446
Duff’s Famous Wings is a family-owned restaurant that has been operational since 1969. The fact that it has withstood the test of time is impressive enough. It must mean the chicken wings are exceptional.
And indeed they are! The specialty here is buffalo wings, which are spicy. The wings are also served with carrots and celery (so that you can get the essential nutrients) and your choice of dipping sauce. I recommend the blue cheese one because it’s salty and creamy.
Pro Tip: From my experience, “medium hot” is already very hot. Keep that in mind if you can’t handle the spice. |
Crave Wings
– From: cravewings.ca
Address: 557 Eglinton Ave W
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—3 to 10 pm
- Friday and Saturday—12 pm to 12 am
- Sunday—12 to 10 pm
Contact Number: +14163223230
The main thing I love about Crave Wings is its array of flavors. Currently, there are around 150 options, so you’ll definitely feel overwhelmed at first glance!
From what I’ve tried, my favorite flavor is Bon Clay because it’s sweet and sour with strong notes of pineapple flavor. Another one that I’ve grown to appreciate is smokey tequila lime. It’s quite sharp, and I love that it isn’t too spicy.
Pro Tips: If you’re dining with your partner, you can get the couples’ deal, which has 1 lb of wings, a chicken wrap, and sweet potato fries. Get the single meal if you want a filling dining experience. This option gives you 1 lb of wings with fries, coleslaw, and a drink. |
The Wing Shop
– From: wingshop.to
Address: 211 Queen St E
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday—3 to 11 pm
Contact Number: +14166821010
The Wing Shop is an underrated dining spot on Queen Street that deserves more love.
The chicken wings are served with carrots, celery, and a dip, and you have many flavor options to choose from. I really like the Short ‘N’ Sweet flavor, but the Backyard BBQ is another one I recommend. It’s smoky and sweet at the same time; I love it!
Pro Tip: Don’t know where to start? You can order the wing sampler, which already includes six classic (non-breaded), six traditional (breaded) options, and six boneless chicken. This deal also has vegetables, seasoned fries, and a dip. |
The Fry
– From: thefry_canada
Address: 524 Bloor St W
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—3 pm to 2 am
- Friday to Sunday—12 pm to 2 am
Contact Number: +16473329299
For people who love Korean-style fried chicken (including myself), The Fry is a must-visit.
My ultimate recommendation is the cheese seasoning chicken. The chicken pieces are smothered with cheese powder, which I know doesn’t sound too appealing at first, but it actually tastes great—almost like real cheese!
I also suggest ordering sides to get the authentic Korean meal experience. My go-to side dish is corn with cheese (I can’t resist the combination of sweet and salty), but I also love the spicy rice cakes because of how chewy and spicy they are.
Pro Tip: You can host a private event at this restaurant. |
Wild Wing
– From: wildwingrestaurants
Address: 1617–19 Wilson Ave
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Thursday—11 am to 12 am
- Friday and Saturday—11 am to 2 am
Contact Number: +16473407552
Wild Wing is home to my favorite comfort foods. That’s why I tend to come here whenever I feel sad or stressed and need a pick-me-up.
The wings here are the classic buffalo flavor, so they have a nice kick of heat from every bite. It’s also served with fries and a dip, so I always get full in no time. Usually, I add more side dishes, such as poutine or Caesar salad, because the fries aren’t enough for me.
Pro Tip: This spot is very small, so during peak hours, expect to get stuck in a queue for a while. |
Drums N Flats
– From: drumsnflats
Address: 1980 Avenue Rd
Operating Hours:
- Sunday to Wednesday—12 pm to 12 am
- Thursday to Saturday—12 pm to 1 am
Contact Number: +16473479474
I love the atmosphere at Drums N Flats. It’s so cozy and casual that I always feel like I’m at home, just catching up with my friends.
Whenever I order chicken wings here, I prefer to get the dry rub flavors. I love the cracked pepper and lemon because the peppery and sour notes complement each other really well. If I want something spicy, I always get The Angry Mexican.
Pro Tips: Sometimes, this restaurant hosts fun live music events and sports watching. Host a fun party with your loved ones at this restaurant. |
Crown and Dragon
– From: lexnger
Address: 890 Yonge St
Operating Hours:
- Monday and Tuesday—3 pm to 12 am
- Wednesday to Sunday—12 pm to 12 am

If you’re a chicken wing enthusiast and a fan of the Maple Leafs team, then you should check out Crown and Dragon. This pub always broadcasts the team’s matches on their multiple TVs, so you can devour wings while cheering with your fellow sports fans!
The wing flavors here are very fun and unique. One that I like is Roadside Lemonade, which makes me pucker my face (in a good way) because of its strong sour flavor.
Dragon Breath is also great. I do feel like a dragon afterward because of how spicy it is!
Pro Tip: Come here on Sunday, and enjoy a 50% discount on all wings all day long! |
Wow! Wing House
– From: wowwingdowntown

Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—3 to 11 pm
- Friday and Saturday—12 pm to 12 am
- Sunday—12 to 11 pm

Wow! Wing House is a popular spot for chicken wings. It has multiple outlets in the city and in other countries abroad!
No matter which outlet you check out, you can treat yourself to any of the 123 chicken wing flavors. The Suicide Digger is a personal favorite of mine. It’s sweet and extremely spicy, so I’m always sweating and begging for milk or ice-cold water by the end!
If you don’t like spicy wings, I recommend getting the honey plum flavor. I didn’t think that wings would taste great with a plum flavor, but it turned out I was wrong!
Pro Tip: This restaurant has several specials you can try. One that I recommend is the Big Boy Special because it gives you 2 lbs of wings plus large fries and a drink. |
St. Louis Bar and Grill

Address: 2050 Yonge St

Contact Number: +14164800202
St. Louis Bar and Grill is one of the most popular bars in Canada. Currently, there are about 78 locations throughout the country, and my go-to outlet is the one on Yonge Street.
I like to keep things simple by ordering the wings and fries. The wings are drenched in a glaze that’s sweet and slightly spicy, and I always end up licking my fingers clean. Sometimes, when I’m in the mood of spicing things up, I get the wings and ribs combo.
Pro Tip: Download the St. Louis Bar app in order to score exclusive points that you can use to redeem for perks. |
Wing Station
– From: wingstation.to
Address: 2901 Markham Rd #4, Markham
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Thursday—3 to 11 pm
- Friday to Sunday—12 pm to 12 am
Contact Number: +14162933555
What I love about Wing Station is that the menu is filled with a great variety of options. The wings section itself has more than 100 different flavors, and on top of that, you can also get other dishes like burgers, quesadillas, and many more.
I always try a different flavor every time I visit, but so far, one that has stood out to me is the apple jerk because it has the peppery-spicy flavors of jerk seasoning and the delicate sweetness of an apple.
If I want to sweat, I tend to get the Sweet and Sweat. I always feel like I just finished a marathon with this flavor!
Pro Tip: If you order from the website, use the code WS10 to get a 10% discount on your total. |
Wingzilla

Address: 1129 Queen St E
Operating Hours:
- Saturday to Thursday—4 pm to 2 am
- Friday—4 pm to 1:30 am
Contact Number: +14164629464
Wingzilla has always been one of my favorite late-night spots to go with friends because the vibe is so energetic and fun. Of course, the bar serves great food as well, including mouth-watering chicken wings.
The flavors here are unique and innovative. For now, the one I consider the best is Bangkok Twist because it infuses honey, lime, and sriracha. As a result, sweet, sour, and spicy flavors dance on your tongue with every bite.
Pro Tip: Get any of the wings combo meals so that you can also enjoy a side (or two) and a drink. |
244 Pizza and Wings
– From: playingwithfire
Address: 1166 Weston Rd, York
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Saturday—11 am to 12 am
- Sunday—12 pm to 12 am
Contact Number: +14162447777
I only heard about 244 Pizza and Wings when my friend (who lives in York) recommended it recently. Now, after having tried it, I’m almost mad that it took me so long to check this out!
Boasting a homey atmosphere, this restaurant is best known for its pizza and chicken wings, and I recommend getting both. For the wings, I tend to get the honey garlic flavor because I love that flavor combination.
I love that I can adjust the spice level as well. I usually go with medium because it’s not too hot but also not too mild.
Pro Tip: I recommend driving to this place because it’s a pick-up-only spot (no dine-in). |
