We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Getting an endoscopy in Toronto can feel pretty overwhelming, especially when you’re dealing with scary symptoms like chronic stomach pain or severe acid reflux.

The absolute last thing you need is staring down a public hospital waitlist that stretches for months. Because of those heavy backlogs, many people across the GTA are turning to accredited community clinics instead.

Choosing an approved out-of-hospital facility lets you skip the long lines and get answers fast, without compromising on your safety.

To save you the stress of digging around, we’ve rounded up the top-rated clinics in Toronto where you can actually get a timely appointment. Read on to know your options!

How We Reviewed

Active Safety Licensing We checked that every facility holds an official permit from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). This verification ensures the clinic meets strict cleanliness and medical safety guidelines.
Referral Waiting Times We looked for locations that can book your slot within two to four weeks of receiving a doctor’s note. Fast scheduling means you get answers without waiting on massive hospital lines.
Advanced Scope Technology Our team picked clinics that use modern high-definition imaging equipment to examine your digestive tract. Clearer images help doctors spot tiny issues like inflammation or polyps much earlier.
Transparent Billing Standards We verified that each centre strictly follows the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) fee schedule. Local patients won’t face surprise facility costs or hidden block fees.

Another draw is their use of advanced high-definition equipment to ensure every test is highly accurate. Plus, everything is covered under the provincial health plan, so you won’t face surprise bills.

    The best clinic

This is the best clinic I’ve ever been at. The whole staff is TRULY friendly and kind. I was very worried as I would do the endoscopy for my first time, but they all made this experience smooth and great, asking all the time how I was feeling before getting sedated. Thank you so much everyone, especially the anesthesiologist Rob, the doctor whose name I’ve forgotten and all the nurses/assistants. Thanks, thanks and thanks!

    Good experience

I just had my first endoscopy. I was nervous because I’ve never been put under before. The whole staff is so lovely. Receptionist is warm and sweet, the nurses were both warm and comforting, and both the anesthesiologist and the doctor (dr. Richardson) both reassured me and were both lovely. The procedure was over so quickly and I woke up with no pain or discomfort.
