If you're an avid follower of documentary movies, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto is a must-go event for you.

The festival presents more than 180 avant-garde documentaries from every corner of the globe, covering a wide range of subjects. Whether you like sports, crime, war, cults, adventure sports or education, you will find some mind-boggling documentaries on each theme.

The festival also features Canadian and international competitive programs, The Doc Shop, an international documentary market and Hot Docs forum.

SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival

For four days in May, SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival takes centre stage at Harbourfront Centre in the celebration of human voice. The voice that is not restricted by any genre, culture, race or language!

Toronto hosts several film festivals throughout the year, but Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival is unique and outlandish. As a largest festival of its kind in Canada, the event brings the lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans community together to celebrate the queer cinema.

For 11 days, the festival showcases Canadian and international films made by and about LGBT people. Through a series of screenings, panel discussion, installations and artist talks, the festival supports lives of LGBT people of all ages, races and abilities.
