Who says a ghost walk tour can’t be both hair-rising and educational? Ghost Walks of Toronto seamlessly blends both!

Led by a knowledgeable guide, the spooky tour commences at Old City Hall – a location rumored to be haunted by a poltergeist. Although we didn’t experience anything, we also didn’t linger too long to find out!

After that, we went our way to Yonge-Dundas Square, which, according to the tales passed down from different folks, is one of the most haunted neighborhoods in Toronto.

Other stops include Massey Hall, Mackenzie House, and Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre.

The tour costs CA$15.04 for adults and CA$12.39 for kids 13 and below.

The Haunted Walk of Toronto offers three spine-tingling tours for anyone with a penchant for the paranormal.

First up is the Spirit of the Distillery District Ghost Tour, where you’ll be guided to one of the city’s spookiest locations. You’ll also hear the chilling history of the place and first-hand accounts of scary encounters.

There’s also the Original Haunted Walk of Toronto that starts in a courtyard at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Here, you’ll know more about the ghost stories that haunt the city’s theaters and riveting unsolved mysteries that will keep you awake at night – don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Now, for the scariest one out of the bunch – Ghosts of the Village at Black Creek, where explorers will have the chance to traverse historical buildings with a lot of scary stories behind them.

In fact, the tour is so scary that it’s not recommended for children and for the faint of heart!

All tours are 75 minutes long and cost around CA$25.99 to 30.99 for adults and CA$19.99 to 24.99 for youth up to 14 years old.

Tour Guys Walking Tours is an exciting tour company that offers an interesting mix of public and private tours. Included in their array of selections is, of course, the Fact or Fiction Ghost Tour.

Here, the tour guides will tell you the best ghost stories in the city, giving you an opportunity to know Toronto from a different perspective. They’ll walk you through locations like the Old City Hall and MacKenzie House.

It’s more educational than scary, and a bit more science-focused than paranormal at times, but if you listen intently, don’t be surprised if your hair raises every now and then. It’s kind of like watching Buzzfeed’s Unsolved in the flesh!

Whether you’re a Shaniac or a Boogara, we’re pretty sure you’d love this tour.
