We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Lately, it feels like stress has been piling up, and I could tell it was messing with my head. I was slipping up on little things I don’t usually get wrong, and that’s when I knew I needed to reset.

I decided to book a Reiki session, and honestly, it was just what I needed. The calm atmosphere and gentle energy work helped me let go of the tension, and I walked out feeling clearer and lighter!

Since it made such a difference, I’m sharing the best Reiki therapists in Toronto so others can try it too. And if you’re after more ways to find balance, I’ll also be sharing lists of the best yoga studios and massage clinics in the city.

How much does Reiki cost in Toronto?

A 1-hour Reiki session will usually cost you around $100 in Toronto. However, your price may differ depending on the therapist’s level of training and the type of session.

How We Chose

Training and experience – We looked at Reiki therapists who have completed formal Reiki certifications, ideally at Level II or Master level, and who have built up several years of practice working with clients.
Approach and atmosphere – We considered how each therapist delivers sessions, whether hands-on or hands-off, and whether the environment feels calm, welcoming, and supportive enough to help clients relax.
Treatment quality – We asked for testimonials from their previous clients to see how people describe their experiences, focusing on whether sessions left them feeling lighter, clearer, or more balanced.
Accessibility – We noted whether these therapists are located in convenient parts of Toronto, close to transit or central neighbourhoods, and whether their hours make it easy to book regular visits.
Pricing and value – We assessed whether session costs are fair considering the therapist’s level of expertise and whether package deals or flexible options are available for those who want ongoing care.

LITE Toronto struck me as an interesting spot for Reiki, since they offer some unique options. Dragon Reiki is one of their highlights, meant to bring clarity and spiritual alignment through energy clearing and chakra balancing.

I also found their Mental Decluttering Energy Release worth mentioning. It uses something called Access Bars, which target 32 points on your head to give you that mental reset.

Couples Energy Renewal Reiki is another option, designed as a shared experience to help partners reconnect.

And if you’re the type who likes consistency, they sell Reiki packages too.

On the practical side, direct billing is available, which makes things easier if your insurance covers Reiki.

That said, LITE is one of the pricier options available in the city. They also don’t take cash, so you need to plan ahead.

Pros

  • Dragon Reiki for chakra balancing
  • Mental Decluttering Energy Release for stress and clarity
  • Offers Couples Reiki
  • Reiki packages available for multiple sessions
  • Direct billing available

Cons

  • Above-average prices
  • No cash payments accepted

I truly enjoyed the experience

“I just went to their grand launch and I truly enjoyed the experience. I first love the colors and ambiance of the space. I also love the massages and reiki. It is a great location too because it’s close to the university and the long term care facility by College and Spadina”

One Reiki therapist I think a lot of folks would find approachable is Cherokee Macleod.

She’s a registered Reiki Master Teacher with two locations in Toronto, one on Bloor Street and another on Danforth Avenue, which makes it easier to book a session without having to travel too far.

She offers both in-person Reiki and distance Reiki, so you can choose whichever feels more comfortable.

But what really stood out to me is the community side. She hosts monthly Reiki Shares at Transense Healing Arts Holistic Centre, which is a welcoming way for people to experience Reiki together.

She also runs certification classes for anyone interested in becoming a practitioner.

The only drawbacks are that there are no official business hours listed and booking is only done by calling, texting, or emailing, which feels a bit old school.

Pros

  • Registered Reiki Master Teacher
  • Two Toronto locations
  • Offers in-person and distance Reiki sessions
  • Hosts monthly Reiki Shares at Transense Healing Arts Holistic Centre
  • Runs Reiki certification classes for students

Cons

  • No official business hours listed
  • Booking only by call, text, or email

I am so grateful

“I have been recovering from surgery and Cherokee has helped me overcome some obstacles in the way my body was functioning which moved me forward to getting better. I am so grateful.”

Energy With Julie was the place I went for Reiki, and it definitely felt more layered than the usual sessions I’ve tried. Julie is a certified Reiki Master with years of experience, so I felt comfortable knowing she had the background to guide the process.

She offers sessions both in person and online, but I’d say the in-person option is worth it because of all the extras she includes.

Before the actual treatment, she gave me a free 10-minute consultation with ceremonial cacao. It was a small but thoughtful way to ease into the session.

Mine began and ended with a sound bath meditation, which made the transitions feel smooth and grounding. She also added aromatherapy, which kept the atmosphere calm throughout.

That said, I found her prices higher than the average. I also had to pay in full up front to secure a booking.

Pros

  • Certified Reiki Master
  • Free 10-minute consultation with ceremonial cacao
  • Reiki sessions begin and end with sound bath meditation
  • Aromatherapy included with Reiki sessions
  • Available both in-person and online

Cons

  • Above-average prices
  • Full pre-payment required to secure bookings

It has been a truly transformational experience

“I’ve been going to Julie for reiki sessions for a few months now and it has been a truly transformational experience. Julie’s space is beautiful and warm; I felt welcomed, safe and connected from the very beginning. Every session was unique in their own way, and Julie has helped me through stored traumas and challenging energies within that I would have never been able to work through myself or with my other therapist. Besides the healing reiki sessions, Julie is also a lovely person to be around and chat with. It has genuinely been life changing to work with Julie!”

Moon Flower Reiki is a small studio in downtown Toronto that’s been around since 2022. They’re certified by the Canadian Reiki Association, which gives them credibility and reassurance for anyone new to Reiki.

One thing I found interesting is their Reiki + Tarot bundle. It offers a mix of energy work and guidance, which can be appealing if you like combining healing with reflection.

They also make things easier with online sessions, and the 15% discount on your first visit, along with $10 cashback on parking, are nice touches for anyone heading downtown.

The downsides are hard to ignore, though. A 60-minute Reiki session costs $200.88, which feels very expensive. Furthermore, they only have two Reiki therapists, so booking can be tight, and you might not always get the times you want.

Pros

  • Certified by the Canadian Reiki Association
  • Reiki + Tarot bundle available
  • Online Reiki sessions offered
  • 15% discount for first session
  • $10 parking cashback for downtown visitors
  • Central Toronto location

Cons

  • Only 2 Reiki therapists
  • Expensive fees

Truly life changing!

“Such a beautiful and special place. I had a reiki session with Candice and it was amazing. I am so excited to continue my reiki journey and I would recommend reiki to anyone looking to deepen their personal healing and connection with themselves and the spiritual world. Truly life changing! We are lucky to have such incredible and gifted individuals in the city. On one of my visits, I also had the pleasure of meeting Hana, the owner, who was absolutely lovely as well <3333”
