Best Time to Go
The best time to go to Centreville Amusement Park in Toronto would be during the weekdays, especially during the summer season from June to Labor Day. Weekends tend to be crowded, leading to long waits for rides and food.
But if you don’t mind waiting around a bit, the summer vibes usually start with weekends in May and September at the park.
Things to Know
Operating Hours: During the season, the park usually opens at 10:30 am and closes between 5 to 8 pm, depending on the day.
Admission: Entrance fee is free (free things to do Toronto), but you’ll need tickets for the rides:

Dogs: Furry friends are welcome here! Bring them along for the ferry ride, on the island, and in the amusement park. Just make sure they stay on their leash at all times. And sorry, no rides for them!
How to Get There
Ferry: Catch a cool ferry ride from downtown Toronto to the Toronto Islands. Just head to the ferry docks from Union Station, grab the ferry to Centre Island, and follow the signs to Centreville when you get off.
Trains: Take the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) or a GO Train to Union Station downtown.
Then, hop on the 509 Harbourfront or 510 Spadina streetcar south, or grab the Bay Bus #6 from Front Street and Bay Street to the Bay Street and Queens Quay stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the ferry docks.
Buses: Jump on the Bay Bus #6 southbound from Front Street and Bay Street to the Bay Street and Queens Quay stop. Then, just stroll over to the ferry docks.
Taxis: Grab a taxi and tell the driver to take you to the ferry terminal. Once you’re there, head to the entrance on the south side of the street, near the Westin Harbour Castle hotel.
Car: If you’re driving, park in one of the public lots near the ferry terminal—it’s usually around $20 a day. Then, catch the ferry to Centre Island and head to Centreville when you arrive.
