Spring is officially here, and Toronto is waking up from its winter snooze! With most of my winter days spent cooped up in my home, I’m itching to get out and soak up all the fun our city has to offer.
That’s why when I heard about CampMilkUP, a pop-up event happening at the Bentway, I knew I had to check it out. Nostalgia, snacks, and good vibes? Count me in.
The event runs until May 4, and let me tell you, it’s definitely worth a visit. The whole place is decked out like a classic summer camp, minus the bug bites and stiff bunk beds.

But that’s only one of the many cool things about this event. The food is the real MVP here. First up, there’s S’mores Ice Cream, a creamy, chocolatey treat that is quite similar to the ones we made by the campfire when we were kids.
Then there’s the Savory Cheesy S’mores, which might sound weird, but trust me, the mix of gooey cheese and graham crackers totally works. If corn is more your vibe, the Creamy Campfire Corn has you covered—sweet, savoury, and simply good.
Oh, and let’s not forget the Berries and Cream doughnuts. Those things are irresistibly sweet and are my favourite among the snacks I’ve mentioned.
Not only do you get snacks, but you can also score some limited-edition goodies like trucker hats, totes, and carabiners. Pretty sweet deal, if you ask me.
Now, here’s the cool part: it’s all free. Yup, you heard me, free. The only catch? You have to follow MilkUP Ontario on Instagram and TikTok, post a pic at the event, tag #CampMilkUP and @milkupontario, and voilà—you’re all set.

Another thing I love about Camp MilkUP is the flexible hours. Whether you’re rolling in after work or spending the weekend wandering around the city, the event has you covered.
On weekdays, they’re open from 5 PM to 9 PM, and on weekends, they run from 1 PM to 6 PM, so there are plenty of chances to join in the fun.
