I don’t think a lot of us appreciate our sense of hearing enough. From catching every word in a conversation to fully soaking in your favourite music or the laughter of someone you love, the impact is huge!
Unfortunately, not everyone has a good ear. That’s why hearing aids have been a total game-changer. Getting one that’s high-quality, reliable, and built to last isn’t just a smart move; it’s essential.
If you’re looking for one, I went ahead and did the research to find the best hearing aid centres in Toronto, where you’ll find top-notch devices and reliable service.
How much do hearing aids cost in Toronto?
Hearing aids in Toronto usually cost around $2,600 per ear. Take note that this is only an estimate, and your price may vary depending on the level of technology, features, and services included.
How We Chose
1. Owl Hearing Clinic

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (TUES)

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (FRI)
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM (SAT)
Owl Hearing Clinic is one of the best places to get hearing aids in Toronto, with locations in Roncesvalles and Midtown. It’s an independent practice run by Anika Cai, an audiologist with 15 years of experience.
A key reason why I think they deserve to be on this list is their wide selection of hearing aids. They’re not tied to any manufacturer, so you can buy almost anything here, including brands like Phonak and Unitron.
It’s also cool that they offer a 2-week free trial, so you can test a pair with zero pressure to buy. And if you do decide to purchase, you get lifetime service, meaning ongoing adjustments and support whenever you need them.
Unfortunately, booking an appointment here can be tricky due to high demand, so be sure to schedule a few days in advance to avoid delays.
Audiologist Anika Cai is the best out there!
“Audiologist Anika Cai is the best out there! It was a pleasure working with you in getting me a hearing aid for my needs. Amazing service and hospitality.”

I truly had a first rate experience all around
“I truly had a first rate experience all around. Starting with Anika who is the best audiologist around! She is a terrific communicator and easy to work with. The hearing aids she introduced me to are brand new, just on the market and tailored to my high frequency challenges. Her staff are very polite in a pleasing office environment.”

2. Connect Hearing

Hearing aids offered: BTE, RIC, ITE, and CIC hearing aids
Address: 3407 Yonge St
Phone number: +1 416-800-7558
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MON-FRI)
If you’re looking to save on your hearing aids, Connect Hearing might be worth a look. They’re quite easy to visit since they have 27 locations across the GTA.
What’s interesting is they have a price match guarantee, so if you can prove a competitor is offering the same hearing aid model at a lower price, they’ll match it.
They also have a subscription program called the Hearing Care Plan. For monthly payments starting at $168, you get new technology upgrades every three years, full warranty coverage, and ongoing support.
However, one issue I’d like to bring up is that they’re a part of the Sonova Group, a Swiss-based hearing aid manufacturer. This limits the brands they carry, with most locations offering Phonak, Unitron, and Advanced Bionics only.
Definitely a place that I would recommend without any doubt
“After visiting about 5 audiologists I finally found the right place!!! Meeting Yasaman Abedi was the best decision of my life. She gives you the confidence you need, answers all your questions and the treatment is the best. She helped me a lot in the whole process and I sincerely believe she is the best! The place is very nice and cozy and the reception girl is very nice. Definitely a place that I would recommend without any doubt. Thank you very much Yasaman for changing my life!”

3. Hearing Aid Source

Hearing aids offered: ITE, RIC, CIC, and BTE hearing aid models
Address: 702 Coxwell Ave Main Floor
Phone number: +1 416-463-4327
Business hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MON-FRI)
Hearing Aid Source is another shop worth considering, especially if you want plenty of options. They have two locations in Toronto and are partnered with most manufacturers, including Signia, Phonak, and Oticon.
One of the best things about them is their clear expertise in handling hearing aids. They offer Hearing Aid Performance Rejuvenation services, which can fine-tune your device’s settings and programming to better fit your needs.
They also provide hearing aid repairs and have access to replacement parts directly from manufacturers, making maintenance a bit easier.
Just note that appointments are required, so quick walk-ins aren’t an option. Also, they don’t have a proper online booking system, so securing an appointment involves some back and forth over the phone or email.
Would highly recommend for all ear issues
“Excellent experience this morning. Would highly recommend for all ear issues. The posted reviews all seem very truthful and describe the clinic as very professional, which they are.”

This is my go to place for my hearing aids
“This is my go to place for my hearing aids. Been a client for about 8 years. The service is terrific and their advice is spot on. Just brought my husband to a hearing aid source for his first hearing test at 60 years old. His hearing is fine! And I am so happy with my aids so we are both good. Thanks HAS staff.”

4. Union Hearing Aid Centre

Hearing aids offered: BTE, ITE, CIC, bone-anchored hearing aid (BAHA), cochlear implants, and more
Address: 123 Edward St Unit 710
Phone number: +1 416-364-2264
Business hours:
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (MON-THURS)
8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (FRI)
Union Hearing Aid Centre has been around since 1922, making it one of the oldest hearing aid centres still running in Toronto. They’re one of my top picks due to the impressive range of hearing solutions they offer.
Beyond the usual hearing aids, they offer bone-anchored hearing devices for folks with unique conditions like single-sided deafness. They even provide cochlear implants, which can be life-changing for those with severe hearing loss.
That said, I did notice their pricing is definitely on the higher side, which might make some people hesitate.
But at least they offer a 90-day trial on most products, so clients can test things out before committing. And if they decide to go through with a purchase, Union Hearing Aid Centre has financing options to make things a bit more manageable.
My son wouldn’t be the man he is today without their help
“When my son was 5 years old we found out he had a hearing problem. My friends told me about a couple of hearing aid centres. We tried them. My son was so unhappy, he wouldn’t wear them, as they didn’t seem to help. When I finally asked the doctor he recommended Union Hearing Aid Centre which was in the hospital at that time. Mr Keller was the original owner and he was training Nick and Chris at that time. He knew he would be retiring soon. When my son walked out of the hospital the smile on his face was amazing. He could finally hear properly. What a world of difference they made. (By the way my son is 49 now.). About 25 years ago I started to lose my hearing, and have been wearing hearing aids myself. Nick and Chris are the most caring individuals I know. They have helped my son and I more than you can imagine. Even though I moved to Maple Ontario I continue to go to them. You go where people are willing to help you no matter how far away. I wouldn’t change hearing centres for anything. My son wouldn’t be the man he is today without their help.”
-Pat Fefer, Google Reviews
I can’t imagine going anywhere else
“Nick and the team at Union Hearing Aid Centre provide knowledgeable, trust-worthy, and great client-centered service. They make every effort to find the right hearing aid to fit your needs and to optimize the experience of wearing a hearing aid. I have been a client of UHAC for close to 20 years and have happily recommended their services to several colleagues and close friends. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.”

9:30 AM – 4:30 PM (FRI)
Toronto Hearing Consultants is a relatively new hearing aid centre, founded in 2022 by Natasha Manji, an audiologist with over a decade of experience. What’s good is they’re independent, meaning they’re not tied to any manufacturer.
That’s probably why they have a surprisingly diverse range of hearing aid options, covering both traditional and modern designs.
I checked out their new Signia Active Pro and Silk models, and honestly, some of them look more like Bluetooth earbuds rather than old-school hearing aids. Definitely a plus for anyone who wants something sleek and discreet!
I also like that they can handle repairs and customize hearing aid settings to fit individual needs. That level of care makes a difference when it comes to comfort and performance.
The only catch? Their prices are a bit higher than clinics affiliated with big manufacturers, likely due to their independent approach.
I am loving my new hearing aids
“Recently saw Natasha and Chantelle for a hearing test for new hearing aids. Test was extremely thorough and they had every type of hearing aid. I am loving my new hearing aids. I got to try them first for a week before buying them. They had a lot of choices of colours and from Natashas advice, I picked silver/grey to match my hair. The girls are super kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Highly recommend Toronto Hearing Consultants!”
