We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Living with musculoskeletal issues can be a daily challenge, as it can affect every aspect of life, from simple movements to participating in your favourite activities. The pain and discomfort can also severely limit one’s ability to live a normal life.

That’s why seeing a rheumatologist can be so helpful. They’re experts at diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal diseases and can make a big difference in your quality of life.

To make it easier for you to find the right care, I’ve put together a list of the best rheumatologists in Toronto.

How much does it cost to see a rheumatologist in Toronto?

Members of the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) don’t have to pay anything to see a rheumatologist in Toronto. However, non-members may have to pay $225 for a consultation.

How We Chose

Experience and qualifications – We prefer board-certified rheumatologists with more than three years of experience in the industry.
Specializations – We also chose those that cover various specializations, such as psoriatic arthritis and pediatric rheumatology.
Accessibility – We evaluated whether their clinics are near major roads and public transit stations. We also assessed whether they see patients on most days of the week.
Professionalism – We considered whether these rheumatologists are always respectful to their patients and on time for their appointments. We also checked whether they respond to enquiries quickly.
Facilities and equipment – We looked at whether they have access to advanced facilities and equipment, like MRI and ultrasound machines, to ensure timely and effective treatments.
