Their rheumatology care stands out with a team of dedicated specialists led by Dr. Lihi Eder, a highly respected figure in the field with over 150 peer-reviewed publications to her name!
One notable facility they have is the Psoriatic Arthritis Clinic, which leverages advanced ultrasound technology for rapid diagnosis and monitoring of disease activity.
Furthermore, they also have the Cardio-Rheumatology Clinic, which provides early screening and treatment of heart disease in patients with rheumatic conditions.
However, it’s worth noting that WCH doesn’t handle emergency cases and operates only on weekdays, which could be a drawback for some patients.

A key advantage of this hospital is its efficient response to rheumatology issues through its STAT clinic, which offers timely assessments and treatments for acute rheumatic conditions.
They even have a dedicated Hip and Knee Rapid Access Clinic that’s designed to provide prompt and dedicated care for those dealing with hip and knee problems. Additionally, TWH offers virtual visits, which are incredibly convenient for those who live far from Bathurst Street.
However, I heard from some of their former patients that they encountered rude behaviour from their staff.
