The Best Florists in Toronto for Arrangements That Make Ordinary Days Special!

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

I like having fresh flowers around the house. They make the living room feel more alive and bright, especially when friends drop by. I’m not buying them all the time, but when I do, I want them to look great and last a while.

My go-to florist always helps me out, whether I need something simple for everyday vibes or something a bit more eye-catching when I’m hosting. They even give me quick tips to keep the blooms looking fresh longer, which definitely helps.

I figured it might be helpful for others, too, so I put together a list of trusted florists in downtown Toronto that are totally worth checking out.

How much do flowers cost in Toronto?

Flower prices in Toronto can vary quite a bit depending on the type, size, and where you’re buying from. For everyday bouquets, you’re usually looking at about $45 for a small mixed bunch, around $80 for something mid-sized, and closer to $125 for premium arrangements with fancier blooms.

How We Chose

Flower quality – We looked at whether these florists consistently provide high-quality floral arrangements based on the freshness of their flowers, how long their arrangements tend to last, and the opinions we’ve gathered from their clients.
Design styles offered – We prefer florists who are well-versed in various floral styles, including modern, minimal, lush, and whimsical.
Location and delivery options – We assessed whether their shops are near major roads and public transit stations. We also checked whether they offer various delivery options and can deliver to most areas in Toronto.
Customer service – We evaluated whether their staff always treat their customers with respect and are quick to respond to any enquiries.
Price fairness – We also considered whether their prices are fair given the quality of their flowers, customization options offered, availability, and discounts for bulk orders.

Lovely service, and even lovelier flowers.

“A surprise delivery of yellow lilies turned my week around. Fresh, radiant, and beautifully packed with care, complete with a note and flower care card – they’ve been holding court on my kitchen table ever since. Lovely service, and even lovelier flowers.”

The flowers are high quality and look stunning

“Wonderful experience, my girlfriend recently moved to toronto and I wanted to surprise her with something special. Needless to say bloomen’s flowers were a great success, the online ordering process was smooth and I could select addons such as chocolate and a fitting vase which was important to me.

The flowers are high quality and look stunning and last quite a while. Only imorovement I can think of is to provide more chocolate options as addons.

Can only recommend!”

If you’re looking for flowers in downtown Toronto that feel personal, Flowers & Flowers is a good pick. Their hand-tied designer bouquets feature seasonal flowers and come with a handwritten card that adds a heartfelt touch.

Their packaging is clever too: sturdy branded bags with built-in water packs to keep your flowers fresh even on hot city walks. These are by far the best flowers I have ever seen

“These are by far the best flowers I have ever seen and they came in such a great presentation and were a quick delivery. My gf was over the moon when she got them. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!!!”

What an adorable work of art!

“While I was searching for flowers for my niece’s graduation, I only had a faint idea. When I found this “Natural Charm” arrangement, it clicked. As I went online to discuss possibilities of customization, Julia patiently provided me with detailed advice and professional suggestions. She fully understands the balance between my needs and budget. I am surprised by how it eventually turned out and deeply impressed by her professionalism and passion. What an adorable work of art! She not only delivered ahead of time, but also considered keeping the flower fresh in the bouquet wrap and easy to carry in a premium box. All the thoughtfulness allows me to travel in a tight schedule across three cities in two days. My niece loves the flower soooo much! Its natural aroma, artful arrangements and elegant wrap in matching kraft paper and sisal not only presented as a great gift out of love, but also earned so many compliments from fellow attendants. Thank you, Julia! I’ll definitely come back!”

Wild North Flowers is my go-to spot when I want to freshen up my home with something beautiful. What I like most is that they prioritize local sourcing, often pulling from Ontario growers, which really helps their arrangements stay vibrant longer.

Their bouquets look unique. They use a mix of at least six types of flowers each time, so no two arrangements ever look the same. More than once, my friends thought I’d ordered from different florists altogether.

Their WNF loyalty program is also a nice touch. I’ve earned freebies like dried lavender just for shopping regularly. Plus, their virtual workshops are super helpful for learning how to style and arrange flowers on my own.

That said, the $13 delivery fee within Toronto is steep. And their prices aren’t exactly low, which might not work for everyone.

Pros

  • Locally sourced flowers from Ontario growers
  • Unique arrangements with 6 or more flower varieties
  • Same-day delivery within the GTA
  • Offers beginner-friendly flower arrangement workshops
  • Has a loyalty program

Cons

  • Slightly above-average prices
  • $13 delivery fee within Toronto

Flower Creations is a well-established florist with over 23 years in the business. Their selection is broad: lots of classic blooms like roses and lilies, but also some cool tropical options like cymbidiums and orchids to make the arrangements feel a bit more upscale.

One thing I really like is their customer satisfaction guarantee. If your order arrives damaged, they’ll send someone to replace it right away without any hassle.

They’re also pretty flexible with deliveries and can do both local and international deliveries. They even have a Corporate Weekly Flower Program that helps keep office spaces fresh with weekly flower drop-offs.

Unfortunately, they have a few rough edges. Some customers have complained about missed deliveries, and their customer service isn’t always responsive to enquiries.

  • Same-day delivery available in the GTA
  • Can do international deliveries
  • Customer satisfaction guarantee
  • Can do weekly flower drop-offs for businesses

Cons

If you’re looking for unique floral arrangements, Kakazan Floristry and Café is worth checking out. They specialize in Korean-style bouquets, which lean into soft colours and looser layouts that feel natural and airy. It’s a style I hadn’t seen before, and I was genuinely surprised by how elegant it looks in person.

Prices are pretty reasonable too. Some bouquets start at $32, and they offer custom orders if you have something specific in mind. I’m even thinking of joining one of their floral workshops to learn how they pull it all together.

One thing to note, though: Kakazan isn’t the best option if you need something last minute. They only do same-day pickup and delivery for their signature Florist’s Pick bouquet. If you want something else, expect to wait five to seven days.

If you’re after flowers that stay fresh longer than usual, Tonic Blooms might be worth a look. Their signature bouquets, known as Farmboys, are wrapped in denim and delivered mostly in bud form so they open up gradually and last for days.

As for their delivery services, they cover same-day orders across Southern Ontario and offer a two-hour on-demand option if you’re downtown. That rush delivery option can come in handy for spontaneous dates.

What’s also good about Tonic Blooms is they offer subscriptions, giving you regular deliveries at a discount. Plus, they have a referral program that lets you earn a little credit when friends order through your link.

If I had to nitpick, it’s that they don’t always hit their delivery windows, which can cause some frustration for recipients expecting punctual drop-offs.

Pros

  • Flowers delivered mostly in bud form for longer vase life
  • Same-day delivery across Southern Ontario
  • Offers 2-hour on-demand delivery in downtown Toronto
  • Has a subscription plan
  • Has a referral program

Cons

  • Inconsistent delivery times
  • Closed on weekends

I was truly impressed with the bouquet!

“Received a delivery of beautiful peonies. I’ve received many gorgeous arrangements over the years but this is the first review I am posting because I was truly impressed with the bouquet! Packaging was clean and crisp, but the actual flowers were super fresh and truly spectacular! They were long lasting and honestly the most breathtaking peonies I’ve ever seen. Once fully opened the actual flowers were larger than my fully extended palm! And the colours were vibrant and eye-catching. Very pleased!”
