Leons Auto Body has been around since 1978, and they’re a solid choice if you’re looking for a certified shop. They’ve earned approval from big-name automakers like Audi, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, and even Tesla.
Where they really shine is aluminum body repair. Not every shop can handle aluminum properly, but Leons is Celette certified, meaning they’ve got the right equipment and expertise to restore aluminum bodies to factory specs.
Of course, they do the standard steel body repairs too, but here’s the kicker: they throw in free detailing after every job. Furthermore, their lifetime warranty is a nice touch, showing they actually stand behind their work.
As for the downsides, they’re not exactly cheap. Also, they’re closed on weekends, which could be a hassle if you need service outside of regular workdays.

ProColor Collision was the shop that helped me out with the little problem I mentioned earlier. I’d say they’re one of the best options, with over 20 years of experience and 15 locations across the GTA.
A huge reason why I picked them was their 24/7 towing service. They arrived quickly, got my car to the shop within an hour, and made the whole process as painless as possible.
As for the actual repairs, they did a fine job. They use OEM-approved techniques, so everything looks factory-level, and the lifetime warranty was a huge plus.
Another thing I liked was how willing they were to handle my insurance claim. It was an absolute relief not to have to deal with paperwork after the accident.
That said, my repair bill here wasn’t cheap. If you’re on a tight budget, you might want to check out other options first.

Alps Auto Repair Inc has been around since 1981, making it one of the longest-standing auto body shops on this list. What makes them great, in my opinion, is the variety of services they offer.
They handle collision repairs, mechanical fixes, and full-on restorations. They even specialize in auto body customizations, which basically means you can tweak your car’s bumpers, skirts, hood, and more to make it stand out.
But what really makes them special is their family heirloom restoration service. If you’ve got an old car that’s been in the family for ages, they’ll bring it back to life with the care and attention it deserves.
Sadly, their customer service seems to be a mixed bag. Some folks have reported issues with staff attitude, while others struggled to get a response to their enquiries.

Our next one, CSN Avenue Collision, is quite special since they’re one of the first in Canada to have the I-CAR Gold Class Shop certification. It basically means their technicians are highly trained and their repairs meet top industry standards.
I think a huge reason why they earned this certification is their advanced facilities. They use stuff like the AkzoNobel Automatchic paint matching tool for precise colour matching.
Another good thing about CSN is that they offer insurance claim assistance, which can save you the headache of dealing with all the paperwork yourself.
Unfortunately, wait times here can be long, especially when they’re busy (which is often). Oh well, at least they offer rental cars, so you won’t be stranded while yours is in the shop.

Performance Collision is another auto body shop that offers a lifetime warranty on all repairs. They’re a bit newer compared to the others on this list, having only been around since 2016, but they still have plenty going for them.
One standout perk is their 24/7 towing anywhere in the GTA, which can be a lifesaver if you’re stranded after an accident.
It’s also worth mentioning that if you drive a Volkswagen, they support the VW Protection Plus Program. It covers minor dents, scratches, and windshield chips that your insurance might not.
However, they often suffer from long wait times, much like the other auto body shop I mentioned earlier. If you’re worried about that, their rental car and shuttle services can help keep you moving while your car is being repaired.
