Have your fill (& more) at the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in Mississauga!

all-you-can-eat-sushi-restaurants-in-mississauga

My childhood friend and I grew up on all-you-can-eat sushi (especially during college), so when she moved to Mississauga, we spent our weekly hangouts looking for the best AYCE sushi spots in the city!

And as it turns out, this city has a lot to offer when it comes to AYCE sushi. The options are endless, and the ingredients are always fresh. What’s not to love? Because of this, I’m now always looking forward to our weekly meetup.

If you’re a sushi lover and you’re visiting Mississauga, be sure to check out these restaurants. In my opinion, these are the best AYCE sushi spots in the city.

Heart Sushi

– From: hungrysimo

Address: 815 Britannia Rd W #2, Heartland Town Center

Operating Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday—11 am to 10 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—11 am to 11 pm

Contact Number: +19058192888

Website

Heart Sushi is the first AYCE sushi spot we visited in Mississauga, and we fell in love with it so fast that we’re still going here even after years of trying dozens of other places.

This restaurant isn’t kidding around with its buffet. The sushi and roll options are so many that I’m always overwhelmed.

So far, my favourite to get is the futo maki roll, which has crab meat, cucumber, pickled radish, and gourd strips. The flavour profile is a combination of sweet, sour, and even bitter!

Pro Tips:

Sometimes, this restaurant hosts special promotions on holidays, like Mother’s Day and Christmas. Usually, these promos are discounts and other freebies.I recommend coming here around lunch because the buffet price is cheaper compared to the dinner buffet.

K&B Sushi

Address: 6400, 1 Millcreek Dr #1

Operating Hours

  • Monday to Thursday—11:30 am to 10 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—11:30 am to 10:30 pm
  • Sunday—11:30 am to 9:30 pm

My friend and I love the chill atmosphere of K&B Sushi, but it’s definitely the food that has us coming back for more. Their buffet comes with a lot of options, including salads, dim sum, and, of course, sushi.

We usually treat ourselves to sushi pizza, which we know isn’t traditional sushi, but it’s so delicious that we just ignore that. The salmon pizza is our current obsession; the buttery, slightly sweet flavour of the pizza meshes well with the umami goodness of the sauce!

Pro Tip:

I recommend coming here on a weekday (Monday to Thursday) because that’s when the prices are cheaper.

168 Sushi

  • Friday and Saturday—11 am to 10:30 pm
  • Sunday—11 am to 9:30 pm

168 Sushi is a popular sushi restaurant all over Ontario, so I’m super glad to see that they have an outlet in Mississauga.

My friend and I go crazy every time we come here. First, we stack up all the classic sushi rolls like California, spicy tempura, and chicken teriyaki, then we try any of the special rolls. So far, we’re obsessed with the crispy volcano roll; we love how it packs quite a lot of heat at the end.

They also have nigiri options. We love to pair our rolls with pieces of salmon roe for that extra buttery flavour.

Pro Tips:

The Mississauga branch has a special free dish every day: baked tiger shrimp on Monday to Thursday (dinner) and Friday to Sunday (lunch), and torched Wagyu sushi on Friday to Sunday (dinner).

Take advantage of these deals when you can! The weekday (Monday to Friday) lunch buffets are the cheapest options.

Moon Sushi

Operating Hours

Moon Sushi was recommended to us by my friend’s co-worker, so one day, we decided to check it out on a whim. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food has definitely won us over.

I really like the unagi sushi here, which surprised me at first because I normally don’t like eel. But this one just has a nice smoky flavour that I can’t resist.

The maguro sushi is also one of my favourites. The tuna is obviously fresh and fatty; pair that with a dip of soy sauce and a smidgen of wasabi, and it’s perfection.

Pro Tip:

You can score a discount if you pay with cash here.

Kanda Sushi

– From: foodieguys.to

Address: 2325 Hurontario St

Operating Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday—11 am to 10 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—11 am to 11 pm

Contact Number: +19058967999

Website

Kanda Sushi is a local favourite, and now that we’ve tried it, we can understand the popularity. The food tastes great, and the portion size here is generous, so we get to fill ourselves like there’s no tomorrow!

The avocado salmon hand roll is my personal favourite because I love the combination of sweet, buttery, and nutty flavours. My friend prefers the spicy salmon hand roll because she loves a bit of heat in her sushi.

Pro Tip:

Buffet is available every day for both lunch and dinner, but I recommend coming here during lunch on a weekday because that’s when the price is at its cheapest.

KK Sushi Japanese Restaurant

– From: munchhalal

  • Monday to Thursday—11:30 am to 10 pm
  • Friday—11:30 am to 11 pm
  • Saturday—12:30 pm to 11 pm
  • Sunday—12:30 pm to 10 pm

KK Sushi Japanese Restaurant has both exceptional services and amazing food, so understandably, it has become one of our favourite places to eat in Mississauga. They offer a wide range of Asian dishes here, but the main highlight is the AYCE sushi.

My current obsession is the sexy roll, which is jam-packed with avocado, tempura shrimp, barbequed eel, and salmon, so the dominant flavours are umami, sweet, and nutty.

It’s also spicy, the kind that sneaks up on you. After downing several pieces, I need to down a glass of ice-cold water to stop my mouth from burning.

Pro Tip:

Lunchtime on a weekday (Monday to Thursday) is the best time to come here because the rate is cheaper.

WIND Japanese and Thai

– From: eatswithevan

Address: 6485 Mississauga Rd

Operating Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday—11:30 am to 10 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—11:30 am to 11 pm

Contact Number: +19055678882

Website

WIND first caught our attention with its modern, fancy interior; then, we heard that this place specializes in Japanese-and-Thai-cuisine fusion and is an AYCE restaurant. After that, we were definitely piqued—and fast forward several years, we’re still coming here.

They have many interesting sushi options here. One that I can’t get enough of is the crystal fish roll, which has avocado, mango, and seaweed with cucumber, rice cracker bits, and strawberry sauce.

I didn’t think all these ingredients would taste great together, but to my surprise, they do. This sushi roll is sweet, fruity, and refreshing. It’s quite addictive, actually!

Pro Tip:

This restaurant offers catering services. If you’re interested, you can give them a call.

Mandarin Restaurant

– From: themandarinrestaurants

  • Monday to Thursday—11:30 am to 3 pm, 5 pm to 9 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—11:30 am to 3 pm, 4:30 pm to 10 pm
  • Sunday—11:30 am to 3 pm, 4:30 pm to 9 pm

Mandarin Restaurant is one of the most popular buffet restaurants in Toronto, with several locations in the city and the GTA at large. They boast an impressive spread of dishes, and for my friend and me, their sushi options are the standout.

They have the classic flavours here, and my favourite is the spicy tuna roll; the salty and spicy notes tickle my taste buds in the best way. The California roll is also a hit for us; it’s sweet, with a hint of nuttiness that we like.

Pro Tip:

This restaurant offers special promotions on certain holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. These promos are usually limited-time discounts, so take advantage of them when you can.

Takumi Japanese BBQ

– From: takumibbq

Address: Unit 12, 1170 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, First Pro Erindale Center

Operating Hours

  • Sunday to Thursday—12 pm to 10:30 pm
  • Friday and Saturday—12 pm to 11 pm

Contact Number: +19058961170

Website

Technically, Takumi is an AYCE Japanese BBQ, but they do offer unlimited sushi, so I say this place counts. Also, grilled meat and sushi rolls? Sounds like a match made in heaven to me!

They only have limited options for sushi, but so far, they’ve all been great. My favourite is the Buddha’s Delight, which has spinach, asparagus, carrot, shiitake, and honey lemon. It’s herby and sweet, with strong citrus notes.

Meanwhile, my friend loves the Fougerite, a sushi roll with avocado, cucumber, and shrimp. The flavour combinations are sweet, nutty, and refreshing. The roll comes with a coconut wasabi mayo, so it packs quite the spicy punch as well.

Pro Tips:

If you use cash to pay, you can score a 5% discount.

If you’re planning to dine with a group, you might be interested in booking a private room. You can do so by calling the restaurant ahead of time.

On the weekends, they follow the first-come, first-served rule (no reservations). So, I recommend coming as early as possible or avoiding the peak hours (6 pm to 8 pm) so that you won’t spend a long time waiting.
