More than Preloved Toronto’s 6 Best Flea Markets

One of the best feelings you can experience as someone who loves shopping but is frugal at the same time is finding sweet deals on the flea market. Fortunately, Toronto doesn’t fall short in its selection of these markets so you can score bargains left and right!

To help you on your hunt for the next second-hand gem that you’ll bring to life, we’ve curated a list of the best flea markets you can find around the capital. Who knows, maybe one of these markets will lead you to your next amazing vintage find!

Operating hours: Every Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Shopping at The Toronto Flea is a whole experience in itself, and we recommend everyone to try it at least once. Here, you aren’t simply shopping for second-hand goods, but you’ll also be treated to fantastic music, good food and an overall great and friendly vibe.

If you haven’t heard of The Toronto Flea, we don’t blame you! It was formerly known as the Leslieville Flea Market from 2013 up until 2023 before being acquired by fellow flea market supporter, Kendall Pereira.

There’s nothing to worry about the change in ownership and name, however, as The Toronto Flea just aims to continue what The Leslieville Flea started. Whether it be jewellery, furniture, or vintage clothing, you can still see these items being sold here!

Pro tip:

Check out their website or follow their official Instagram page before visiting to see their latest schedule!

If you want to make your visit extra special, we recommend shopping during the winter season. During this time, the outdoor ice rink will be open and you’ll get to live out your dreams of a wonderful white Christmas.

The biggest highlight of this market, however, is probably the esteemed food court, which has been dubbed as one of the best ones in Toronto.

We can’t blame anyone who makes this bold claim though, as this foodie paradise features a wide array of dishes from cuisines like Chinese, Mexican and Italian.

If you have a knack for collecting antiques, this market should be right up your alley! The vendors here are well-educated on their antique collections and they’ll be more than willing to make a deal with you!

You can, however, visit as soon as the doors open at around 9:30 AM if you don’t want to encounter dense crowds.
