Do West Fest 2025
When: June 6 to 8, 2025
Where: Dundas Street West, from Shaw St. to Lansdowne Ave.
Alright, Toronto is about to come alive next weekend, and I honestly can’t wait. Do West Fest is back, taking over 16 blocks of Dundas West for three days of music, food, art, and good vibes.
If you haven’t attended one before, trust me, this is one of those festivals you need to experience at least once. This thing is huge!
For starters, there are three massive stages featuring artists like Afrique Like Me, Lengaïa Salsa Brava, and Reggaddiction. There will also be a whole lineup of local performers and artists popping up in random spots.
Oh, and if you’re into street art, make sure to also check out their Do West Museum. It’s an open-air gallery where various mural artists from all over the city will showcase their talents and paint live throughout the weekend.

It’s cool that you could literally walk down the street and stumble onto a dance party, then turn the corner and find someone creating a masterpiece on a blank wall!
And since it’s happening in Little Portugal, the food scene is going to be really good, with Portuguese, Latin, and global flavours everywhere. I’m talking about food trucks, pop-up stalls, and those patios where you can taste some irresistible cocktails.
It’s the kind of setup that makes you lose track of time in the best way possible.
One of the most exciting parts this year is the queer market takeover for Pride Month, which is bringing together LGBTQ+ creators, designers, and performers in one big celebration of community.
I love that Toronto always finds ways to make these festivals feel inclusive and welcoming, because that’s what really makes events like these special.

Things will kick off on Friday night with live music and patio parties. Then, Saturday will be an all-day adventure filled with performances, interactive exhibits, and vendor markets.
By Sunday, it’s got a more relaxed vibe, with artisan markets and family-friendly activities to wind things down.
And yes, it’s completely free, which is honestly one of the best parts. You don’t have to plan anything—just show up, walk around, and let the city take care of the rest.
So, whether you go for the performances, the food, or just to wander and see what happens, Do West Fest is an amazing way to start the season. Toronto summers are something else, and this festival is proof.
