We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

In the ever-evolving landscape of business, adaptability is the key to survival. As entrepreneurs and professionals, we’ve witnessed seismic shifts—including the pandemic-induced remote work revolution and the reimagining of traditional office spaces.

Virtual offices have emerged as an alternative to traditional ones. They bring flexibility and cost-effectiveness that let you say goodbye to the constraints of renting an office space.

So whether you’re a solopreneur, a remote team leader, or a curious business owner, it wouldn’t hurt to check out these amazing virtual offices in Toronto!

How much does a virtual office cost in Toronto?

The average price for a virtual office in Toronto is $125 per month. The price may vary depending on its physical address and the additional services included with your virtual office.

How We Chose

Range of services  – We picked virtual offices that offer a wide range of additional services like mail handling, telephone answering, and printing services.
Location – Even though you won’t physically occupy the space, your business address matters. We checked whether they have locations that are near Toronto’s downtown area, industrial hubs, or trendy neighbourhoods.
Communication – We assessed whether they have staff that can assist you immediately should you encounter problems while using your virtual office. We also evaluated whether they respond professionally to any enquiries.
Price fairness – We also considered whether their prices are fair given the number of additional services they can provide and the location of their virtual offices.

Telsec is a great choice if we’re talking about a professional-looking address for your virtual office. Located in a skyscraper in the middle of downtown Toronto, its prime location can help you attract more potential clients and partners.

Of course, they have everything you’ll need to run your virtual office seamlessly, including mail forwarding and telephone mail services.

What’s even better is that they have a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) virtual office service that provides you with a dedicated phone number that can receive calls from anywhere in the world while making it appear as if you’re answering from your downtown Toronto office.

That’s a huge help, especially for remote workers and frequent travellers. And with their first-month free offer for new clients, what’s not to love?

However, a downside with them is that they tend to miss enquiries sent via phone or email.

Pros

  • Prime downtown location
  • VoIP virtual office service that lets you receive calls from anywhere in the world
  • First month free for new clients

Cons

  • Sometimes forgets to respond to calls and emails
  • No discount for the use of their other facilities like meeting rooms

I am always happy to recommend Telsec

“We have been with Telsec for more than 8 years and we are very happy with the services we receive. The staff is very professional and friendly. The meeting and training rooms are fully equipped. I am always happy to recommend Telsec Business Centres.”

Telsec provides excellent virtual office service options

“Telsec provides excellent virtual office service options. My business has been renting the mailing address services Telsec offers for quite some time. We are very pleased with the professional business mailing address and appreciate the quick response time and customer care that the support team at Telsec provides. Not to mention, as a member we have the option to rent office space, meeting or training rooms at any time on an as required basis!”

Another virtual office provider that has a prime location in downtown Toronto is Intelligent Office. But if that’s not your type, don’t worry because they have three more locations in Toronto and even more in nearby cities like Vaughan and Mississauga.

Aside from the flexibility they provide to their clients, another thing I love about them is their 24/7 call answering service that can answer enquiries for you, even when you’re unavailable. This service will even assign a dedicated virtual assistant for you so you won’t have to worry about missing appointments ever again!

Their virtual office also offers mail forwarding services if you need them.

Sadly, despite their amazing offerings, it has been reported that their management can be rude towards clients.

Pros

  • 4 locations including one in downtown Toronto
  • 24/7 call answering service
  • Provides a dedicated virtual assistant

Cons

  • Some rude staff
  • Sometimes forgets to respond to calls and emails

We highly recommend Intelligent Office

“Remote office space has always been a good idea but the staff and facilities at Intelligent Office make it a great idea. We have been using Intelligent Office at First Canadian Place for over 10 years. We get professional answering service and seamless transfer of calls from the office to wherever we are physically working. We have a great business address, our name is displayed in the directory at FCP and we have offices and meeting rooms we can rent by the hour, day or week. Our clients have complimented the services and pleasant staff. We highly recommend Intelligent Office.”

The staff who answer the phones are always professional and courteous

“I became a member of Intelligent Office last year, when I opened my own practice. As a first-time business owner, the support I have received from Intelligent Office over the past year has been amazing. The staff who answer the phones are always professional and courteous, and have really impressed my clients. When you become a member, you can provide a list of FAQs that clients normally ask, along with the responses you would like Intelligent Office to provide over the phone. This saves so much time as a business owner since Intelligent Office is able to field some calls for you. Intelligent Office provides a “big business” experience even if you are a sole practitioner. From the beginning, they have felt like a partner in my business and their support has helped me grow my practice faster than I expected.”

Thank you iQ for providing a great facility to thrive in

“Leaving an established firm to build a new consulting practice (design) can be daunting but iQ has allowed the transition to be smooth as it can be. With very flexible arrangements (we have dialled up and down in size a few times), easy to use on site technology (WIFI, copy/print/scan), help yourself coffee/water bar, shared kitchen lounge, unique adaptive reuse of a venerable building and prompt mail/courier concierge – it’s as good as my old office (maybe better).

All of that is great but the real differentiator for me is the great service – always with a smile – it adds a caring personal touch that means a lot.

Thank you iQ for providing a great facility to thrive in.”

WeWork is by far one of the best decisions I’ve made as a business person

“WeWork is by far one of the best decisions I’ve made as a business person. I wanted an office space but this place offers so much more. WeWork’s best asset is the people and the environment it has created that encourages establishing and nurturing relationships. The staff is extremely friendly, competent and helpful. Jessica Bhola for example, has been nothing but exemplary in her work. Anytime I needed something she was there. She knows her stuff and makes it seem easy! Would recommend to anyone who wants to maximize their reach for their dollar.”

Project Spaces is an amazing virtual office provider you’ll find west of downtown Toronto. Aside from their nice location, I’m also impressed with the long list of services and add-ons they provide to their clients.

That’s because aside from the typical virtual office services like mail handling and forwarding, they’ll also grant you special deals and discounts that you can use with any of their partner stores and establishments in Toronto.

Another thing that I find quite unusual yet interesting about them is that they offer optional health and dental plans for you and your colleagues if you need them. If you need to access their facilities, they’ll provide you with a $5 discount on your day pass and a 50% discount on the use of their meeting rooms.

However, I’m a bit miffed that they ask for a $100 setup fee for new virtual office clients.

Pros

  • Discounts you can use in partner stores and establishments
  • Discounts for day passes and meeting rooms
  • Optional health and dental plans

Cons

  • Charges a $100 setup fee
  • Limited meeting room options

Beautiful space in downtown Toronto

“Very cozy for the office space. Great place to work as well as networking. Tasty coffee and a huge variety of teas are always available. Beautiful space in downtown Toronto.”

Great community of people

“Great community of people. A lot better vibe than I’ve experienced at Wework. Jeff and Neil, the founders, are very charismatic people. Always a pleasure running into them.

The lounge itself has been recently updated. It’s wonderful.”
