Hey there, Toronto! It’s that time of the year again when we embrace the weird, the wonderful, and the downright peculiar. If you haven’t heard yet, the Something Strange Sideshow Festival is making a grand return to our city on January 26, 2025!
It’ll take place for the entire day in the Revival, which is located at 783 College Street and is one of our city’s most eclectic venues. The festival kicks off at noon and will keep us enchanted until the final act at 10:30 PM.
Oddities Market
One thing I will say is that the wonderful wackiness and weirdness you’ll encounter here is going to be out of this world. A highlight of this festival is its multi-level oddities market, a treasure trove of unique finds.
This market will feature stalls filled with vintage antiques, incredible taxidermy pieces, beautifully diaphonized animals (think glow-in-the-dark skeletons), and jewellery that tells its own peculiar story. It’s a carnival of curiosities that you won’t find anywhere else!

But, of course, the oddities market is just one aspect of the event. At 8 PM, the event will finally showcase an awe-inspiring show that’ll leave you both amazed and slightly unnerved.
Headlining this spectacle are some names you might already know if you’re a fan of the strange and spectacular. In particular, Dash Rippington, a famed Guinness World Record holder, promises to wow us with his terrific stunts using mousetraps.
Then there’s Nathan McScary, who needs no introduction in the sideshow world. His extraordinary juggling skills, sideshow acts, and fire entertainment will definitely keep us on the edge of our seats for the entire night.
For those who love spooky performances, make sure to also keep an eye out for The World Famous Sentimentalists. This amazing mind-reading duo is quite known for their out-of-this-world performances that’ll keep you hooked.
Having experienced their mind-bending acts in a past event, I can vouch for their ability to leave audiences questioning the very fabric of reality.

Other great performers that will be performing in this event are Fenyxfire, Hott Todd Lincoln, Scarlet Black, and more. With so many talented acts, I’m beyond excited to support and participate in such a uniquely captivating event.
Still, it’s important to note that you’ll need to buy a ticket first before you can take part in the festivities. For the oddities market I mentioned earlier, it costs $11 per person, but there’s also the Family Pass, which costs $35 if you want to bring the kids along.
As for the show that’ll take place during the night, the ticket prices are $30 per person if paid in advance and $40 if paid at the door. You can buy your tickets from this website.
