You know that feeling when it’s late, you’re just chilling, and suddenly—bam—cravings? Yeah, same. As a night owl, I can’t help but feel the urge for a snack or a cold drink every now and then.
And since most places are closed, the convenience store is always my go-to. It’s fun just strolling through the aisles, grabbing whatever looks good, and walking out with a little late-night win.
So if you’ve ever had the midnight munchies too, you’ll probably want to check out this list of great convenience stores in Toronto. Hopefully, it helps you find a solid spot for those snack runs!
How We Chose
1. 7-Eleven

Products offered: Chips, candy, hot dogs, sandwiches, coffee, and more
Address: Spadina, 260 College St
Phone number: +1 416-591-6371
Business hours: Available 24/7
I’m pretty sure many of you have gone to a 7-Eleven branch at some point. They have 15 stores in Toronto that are open 24/7, making them an easy choice for late-night snacks or an emergency caffeine fix.
Their selection is what you’d expect from a convenience store, including chips, candy, and classic grab-and-go foods like hot dogs and sandwiches. There’s also the classic Slurpee, which I often get during summer.
Another thing I like is their 7Rewards, which lets you earn points for free snacks and drinks every time you shop.
They’ve also started doing deliveries through the 7Now Delivery App (available on the Play Store and App Store), though I’ve never bothered with it since I’d rather just grab stuff myself.
Unfortunately, I’ve had more than a few encounters with staff who seem annoyed that I’m there, which ruins the experience.
The store was also clean, organized and nice
“Arushi, Uzman and Kevin were really helpful with the service! The store was also clean, organized and nice”

2. Circle K

Products offered: Chips, coffee, lottery tickets, fuel, toiletries, and more
Address: 1138 Sheppard Ave W, North York
Phone number: +1 416-630-9533
Business hours: Available 24/7
Another convenience store chain you’re probably used to seeing in Toronto is Circle K. With over 90 locations open 24/7, chances are you’ve stopped by at least once—probably more than once.
They pretty much cover the basics, including chips, coffee, and even lottery tickets. But honestly, the main reason I end up at Circle K is the attached fuel stations. It’s just convenient to gas up before heading home.
Some locations also have car washes, which come in handy when winter road salt starts crusting up my car. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s decent enough for a quick clean.
On the downside, I’ve noticed that some stores aren’t well-maintained, with dirty bathrooms being a huge issue.
It’s perfect for quick stops and always has what I need!
“This Circle K is a great store with a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and convenience items. The staff is friendly, and the store is always clean and well-stocked. It’s perfect for quick stops and always has what I need!”

3. INS Market

Products offered: Snacks, coffees, burritos, wraps, e-cigarettes, and more
Address: 800 Bay St.
Phone number: +1 647-344-2373
Business hours:
7:00 AM – 2:00 AM (MON-FRI)
9:00 AM – 2:00 AM (SAT and SUN)
If you prefer going with something that’s a bit more nutritious than a bag of chips for your late-night snack, give INS Market a try. With over 50 locations in Toronto and even more across the GTA, it’s pretty easy to find one when you need a quick bite.
Like the other two I mentioned earlier, they stock the usual snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials. But what really stands out is their INS Food range, which offers healthier, halal-friendly options like burritos, wraps, and smoothies.
For vapers, INS Market also has an INS Vape section with e-cigarettes and accessories, so you don’t have to hunt down a specialty shop.
That said, they’re not a 24/7 operation, and most locations close by midnight. Plus, their hours aren’t consistent across all stores, so figuring out whether they’re open can be a bit of a hassle.
This place is definitely worth checking out!
“This place is definitely worth checking out! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially this one girl, Aayushi. She was so sweet and patient, answering all my questions with a smile. It’s refreshing to find such great customer service these days. I’ll definitely be back again soon!”

4. Hasty Market

Products offered: Milk, bread, coffee, subway-style sandwiches, salads, and more
Address: 3274 Lake Shore Blvd W, Etobicoke
Phone number: +1 647-406-7404
Business hours: 6:00 AM – 12:00 AM (MON-SUN)
Hasty Market is another convenience store chain that sells fresh meals. They operate 24 locations across the GTA, offering all the basics—milk, bread, snacks, coffee, and candy.
Beyond that, they’ve got a decent selection of healthier options like Subway-style sandwiches, salads, and fresh produce.
I stop by their stores occasionally, mostly because they offer extra services. A lot of their locations have ATMs, which is great when I need cash on the go.
Curiously, I’ve also noticed some stores have Bitcoin ATMs!
However, the one thing that bugs me is their inconsistent hours. Some locations are open 24/7, but most close by midnight. My workaround to this is checking their Store Locator first to make sure the branch I plan to visit is actually open.
It is a must-visit for all your everyday needs
“I recently stopped by Hasty market , and it was a good experience. The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had a wide selection of products, from snacks and drinks to household essentials, so it was convenient to pick up a few things on the go. I also noticed that their prices were quite competitive compared to other stores in the area. It is a must-visit for all your everyday needs.”

This convenience store is a hidden gem
“I recently visited Hasty Market, and it was a delightful experience! This convenience store is a hidden gem with an impressive variety of snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials well organized on the shelves.
What truly sets this store apart is their delicious masala tea. It’s perfectly spiced with a rich blend of flavours that warms you up from the inside out.
The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to shop. I highly recommend Hasty Market for a quick and satisfying shopping experience!”

5. Rabba Fine Foods

Products offered: Fresh produce, meats, dairy, seafood, snacks, toiletries, alcoholic beverages, and more
Address: 580 Jarvis St
Phone number: +1 416-921-0183
Business hours: Available 24/7
In case you need to do a last-minute grocery run late at night, come check out Rabba Fine Foods. This convenience store chain has 34 locations across the GTA that are open 24/7.
What sets them apart is that they feel more like a small grocery store than a typical convenience store. Their selection goes beyond the basics, offering fresh produce, meats, dairy, and even seafood.
Some locations even have in-store restaurants serving hearty Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes. Many of their stores also have ATMs and attached fuel stations, adding to their convenience.
Sadly, the extra convenience they offer comes at a price, literally. Their products tend to have a higher markup than what you’d find at other convenience stores. Also, being open 24/7 seems to make it tough for some locations to stay consistently clean.
One of the most convenient places for me
“Rabba Fine Foods happens to be one of the most convenient places for me to grocery shop. Since Covid, I needed a store that was open 24/7. As my wife is house bound, shopping at early morning hours gives me a chance to shop quickly, efficiently & with almost no other people around. The food is made that day, the expiry date prominent. Fruits and vegetables are fresh. All bread and buns
baked on the premises. Easy check out. I could say that the prices are higher than most grocery stores, however… The convenience of shopping at 2,3,4 etc. in the morning surely makes up for the extra funds one pays. I give it a 5 star rating!!!”
